Man I so need part 2 asap! Tru and Halo both changed each others lives. Tru was beyond coldhearted but Halo brought out a much different side of him. He was truly ruthless but learning about his background explained so much. All the Rich brothers allowed Cecile's weak ass to corrupt their minds but now I want to know what really happened to their mom after what Halo learned. Polo was crazy, just not as crazy as Tru and he messed up big time. He better take some lessons from Tru before he loses Britain for good. I'm hoping Bret doesn't try to go through what he told Britain because things wouldn't end well for him. Blue is definitely different and he may be just what Britain needs in her life. Polo is showing out and he better think before he makes a big mistake. Veli was doing too much. After this incident it should make him want to get himself together and take heed to all the things his brothers were constantly trying to get him to understand. Hopefully things aren't too bad because Polo and Tru will truly shut Memphis down. Something isn't right with Cecile and I wouldn't be surprise if he had a hand in trying to bring the brothers, especially Tru down a few notches to realize he isn't untouchable.

I haven’t actually left a review on a book for a very long time but I just had to on this one. Charmaine is my girl and I love everything that she does but this just didn’t do it for me. I can’t even believe it was her work. Tru and Halo didn’t fit together at all. I don’t even understand why she liked him because he didn’t do anything to make her like him. Polo/Brit and Veli/Syn I wanted to read more about. They actually seemed interesting because Tru “I want to pu**y” after kidnapping and killing someone in my face could never get me wet. Charmaine you are my girl and I love you but please do better with part 2. I need my girl back because this was not the Charmaine I am use to. There was no book Bae at all and I need a Bae. He doesn’t have to be perfect but he needs to still be Bae material.

OMG goodness can't wait for book 2.
Tru was the oldest brother of the Richardson brother the coldest and callous one who knew nothing about love. Tru and Halo went thru a roller coasters of love. Tru didn't know how to love he was raise to be ruthless and not to trust women. Polo was having a secret affair with independent,and headstrong Halo cousin Britain want more from him. Polo was afraid of commitment and being in a relationship because how he was raised. Makavei was the younger brother who was a loose cannon had woman in rotation wasn't committed to no woman. Will Makaveil survive his injuries from being shoot. Why did Cecile want Halo died does it has something to do with her mother death her father maybe. Some many unanswered questions can't wait to book 2. Who did Britain bring with her to the emergency room that made Polo to pull out a gun.

Dope story
I really like the storyline, what I didn't like was how the author make the female characters look weak. Especially Britain. I understand that Tru, Polo, and Veil were suppose to gangsters but I felt it was a little over board with characters. Tru was a ruthless as they come but he softened up for Halo. Polo and Britain I didn't really get their relationship, he could do what he want and disrespect her with other female, but didn't want her to do her thing. Veil was to childish and way to immature for me. Regardless of how their father raised them, Veil still had a mind of his own. Please give Britain so balls to boss up on Polo. Hope part 2 doesn't take to long to be released!

Whew
These Richardson brothers are really ruthless and hardcore at everything even love! Britain definitely deserves to be more than a secret yet she allows herself to be Apollo’s secret and to top it of she and her child are Brett’s secret. She is too bomb of a lady to settle for this. Halo seems sweet but a little naive. True just bullied his way into her life and her heart and now she’s hooked. Cecile is a son of a gun and I can see him at war with his kids especially with the revelations concerning Brisa. Veli irked my nerves with his childishness but his loved be for Syncere made me like him! Great start to a dope series!

Great Read
This book was so good from beginning to end and what a ending. Held my attention and I couldn't put it down...a page-turner. Enjoyed the storyline, plot and these characters, it flowed really well at a steady pace. This is definitely the start of another great series and I want so much more. These Rich Brothers are ruthless, rude and hardcore, but I love their loyalty and love for each other. Halo is exactly what Tru needs to calm the beast inside of him down. Polo, better get himself together before he loses Britain. Veil, is young and had a lot of growing up to do, but I like Syncere for him. N oh w, Cecile is definitely a snake slithering around causing all kinds of trouble. After that ending, I can't wait to see what happens next. Great job Charmanie Saquea.

The Rich Brothers
I just love when the author connects all of the characters in some special way. Who would ever think that Halo was connected to Cecile. That definitely surprised me. I’m curious as to who wants Tru dead so bad that they would attempt a murder on him. I mean Tru do make you want to snap his neck several times through the book but he has some many uncovered layers it’s ridiculous. After he revealed his truth to Halo, I started to understand him a little bit more. Especially his super anger issues.
Britain and Polo just a whole hot mess. I can’t wait to see how things play out between Bret, Blue and Polo.

Rich brothers
Tru, Polo and Veli smh these brothers were a mess and a half! Tru really has issues!! Halo better run. Britain has no idea the mess she's about to be in, all because Polo doesn't want to step up. Their father, or sperm donor actually, is the worst. The story was definitely entertaining with the brothers' shenanigans. These characters, particularly the guys, made this one. Halo had me side-eyeing her a few times. There is going to be a lot to unpack in the next book because of the way this one ended.

This was rough for this author… This was rough for this author, for a new author this would be a great start for something good. Tru's character came off waaaay too much and over the top, all the guys really. Halo was a lap dog chasing and fetching after him so it took so much out of the read it was a turn off.
These characters had nothing going for them I'm not sure where the author is going with the plot but I can take a simple guess and probably be right. I'd read the next one if I can get back around to it but I'm not in any rush.

This book was just ok. I can't say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Tru was not likeable and I did not understand Halo's attraction to him. Also, Tru and Halo did not have a connection or chemistry. When the 2 lead characters have a connection and chemistry it makes the story so much better. Perhaps part 2 will be better.

Love Is Blind
This was a very interesting book, I hope veli makes it out alive. I’m glad tru is learning how to love halo is breaking down that wall he have up slowly. I can’t wait until he finds out his daddy is the one one who killed halo mother. I hope the wait for pt 2 us not long.

Love it!
I love Tru’s growing vulnerability. There are very few urban romances these days that’s willing to explore and show us the growth of the leading alpha male figures in the books. Tru and Halo’s growing love is very refreshing. It’s nice to finally read about a couple that’s not fighting their love for each other but embracing. Hats off to the author on a job well done!👍🏾

Charmanie you did the darn thing with this book....I absolutely loved it. I love Tru and Halo together...I love the Rich brothers. Veli is hilarious. I knew I wasn't going to like their dad. I was not ready for that ending....I can't wait to read part 2....
