Rate this book
This study examines the architectural practice of Edward Cullinan Architects, known for its high principled, user-oriented design philosophy. Since 1974, the firm has completed a significant number of buildings for selective clients, such as Olivetti and the National Trust. Since 1989, they have also been invited to carry out major projects throughout Europe, Japan and the USA, including Technical High School, Lagny, France; D'Hautree Secondary School, Jersey; Ambassador's Residence, Moscow; and The University of North Carolina Campus, USA. Powell presents a critical analysis of over 30 projects covering a wide range of domestic, commercial and academic buildings. Texts written by Edward Cullinan are also included.
