Although the travel section is outdated by almost 80 years, the history is very well done and still pertinent. Arthur Pound presents many details but in an interesting manner. I learned a lot about early U.S. and Canadian history.

Very interesting -particularly from its 64-year-old viewpoint. It drags a little in the Canada parts, eh, but the Rochester parts are a great read.
