4.5 stars. Honestly this modern day fairytale was one of the best I have read. Something different then the norm. Tristan and Neve captures my heart and I loved reading their story. We first read them as a shorter version but I was thrilled when I learnt that the book had been extended and finally got a HEA for this couple. Great work for this team and I can’t wait for then next

Poisoned Love by Ally Barnes and Debbie Ann is a Modern retelling of Snow White, originally part of an anthology however has since been expanded into this amazing version.
Wow, Ally and Debbie have totally transformed the classic story and made a compelling contemporary second chance romance out of it. Tristan is a broody and arrogant author who dismissed a relationship with Neve, his then university assistant and now successful author, 5 years earlier. They have now ended up on the same book tour but with the same secrets (and some new conflicts) standing in their way to being together. I loved all the characters in this, all the classic characters of Snow White make an appearance in some way. Heaps of angst, enough thrills and sweet moments to keep you invested. Well worth the read.

Loved this Snow White adaptation into modern day!
Meet Neve White and Tristan Prince who both happen to be authors.
Their story began when Neve was younger and she assisted Tristan with his work. Neve's attraction to Tristan was building and she acted on it, not realising the consequences of her actions.
Now five years later, Neve and Tristan are both signing at a book event where Tristan sees Neve and can't help the feelings that are resurfacing. With evil villians at play, will their love grow or be demolished entirely??

Poisoned Love by Ally Barnes and Debbie Ann was an amazing spin on contemporary romance. Mainly set in England, with all the characteristics of a fairytale, I found myself thoroughly enjoying this book.
Once a young anxious and naive girl, Neve White finds herself back facing her past as a stronger, more confident woman; that's what she thought until the stunningly handsome - once Professor sits at a table across the room, eyeing her with the same hunger he had five years ago.
Tristan Prince is a well known bestselling author, and also a jerk.
When fate brings Neve and Tristan together at a book signing, will Neve be able to fight her attraction after all these years or will she succumb to temptation and let her feelings spill to the surface and ruin everything she's worked hard for?
I absolutely loved the twist on this novel. Not to mention the unknown that kept me excited to the very end.
This is a very well thought out story by an amazing duo.
I recommend this book.

I am so glad that Ally and Debbie finished writing the rest of Tristan and Neve’s story. I was privileged to have been able to read the beginning of Prince Charming and Snow White’s Story in ‘The Dirty Dozen Princess Anthology’. I fell in love with Tristan Prince and Neve White and could not stop thinking about them. I loved the Disney story of Prince Charming and Snow White but I’m no longer a little girl that believes a Prince will come in on his horse and save the day with no drama o heartache and I’ll live happily ever after, no I am now an adult that likes her Prince’s to be possessive, dominate, sexy, dirty talking, with a little splash of romance. That is exactly what I got in my tea concoction with this book.
Thank you Ally and Debbie for writing such an fantabulous book, with wonderfully addictive characters and story line. I do hope to have more on our Prince Charming and Snow White in the future, if not their HEA that they get will have to suffice 😉.

So getting an Internship in the English Department at Oxford was a way for her to be able to enjoy all the history of England. What she never expected was to enjoy the view of the English Professor.
One night five years ago sent both Tristan and Neve on very different paths that ultimately had the both attending the very same Book Signing Tour across England.
Tristan and Neve have a long history together and it wasn’t all rainbows and unicorns, in fact it was heartbreak and lies. Will Tristan Prince be able to win back Neve Snow, or will the history stop them from having their Fairytale story.

Generally I'm not a fan of a modern day fairy tale retelling, but I really enjoyed Poisoned Love. Neve and Tristan's story is the retelling of Snow White, a sweet, yet ansty second chance romance with intrigue and a touch of suspense.
Tristan and Neve met when he was working as a professor, and she was his assistant. After a night that ended their relationship five years later, they end up in each other's path when they both participate in a book tour.
Tristan is brooding, arrogant, posessive, determined and driven. He won't let anything stand in his way in reaching success.
Neve is an Australian obsessed with English history and aristocracy, and although she was Tristan's one time assistant, now she's a successful author.
I was enthralled and engaged by Poisoned Love from the beginning to end and look forward to seeing what this writing duo comes up with next.
