Comprehensive treatment of the subject.
The author was a professor of soil science at Michigan State University.
I read the library copy, but worth buying.
Although somewhat dated in terms of publication date, by comparing the information with more recent findings published on the internet, it is apparent that the fundamentals have not changed much in the subsequent 25 years.
