Excellent storytelling. Historical novel set in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Won the Ohioana Award for fiction.

Great vocabulary, but too impenetrable and stylistic for my taste.

November 26, 2011I began reading and stopped after 58 pages. The story did not draw me in and the writing style was not to my liking.
