Shy omega, Jasper St James lives a simple life in the quiet town of Seedville. Together with his twin brother Romeo they run The Dough Knot, the best bakery in town. When an arson attack threatens their business, Officer Bennet Cooper shows up to investigate. Unlucky in love and scared to trust again, Jasper doesn’t think a big, strong and sexy Alpha like Bennet would take any interest in his introverted dorky self.
Bennet Cooper moved to Seedville in search of a simpler life. After a bitter divorce, Bennet hopes he’ll find love again, only this time with someone who wants the same things in life. He’s instantly attracted to fragile and sweet omega Jasper, but they both have healing to do in the love department. When an unexpected encounter changes everything, it’s hard for the two men to take things slow. Especially when it feels like destiny has pulled them together.
When the arsonist returns, this time with a vengeance, Bennet must jump in to save his omega. Kidnapped and kept captive, Bennet will do anything he can to save the man he fell hard and fast for… and their unborn baby.
A satisfying, insta-love romance with a big, protective Alpha and a sweet and needy omega, this novella is full of heat and all lots of sweet treats. The first in the Boys of Seedville series, Small Town Omega contains no cliffhanger and a HEA.
3.75* while I did enjoy this little story I felt it a bit rushed and would have like it even slightly longer just to get to know the MC’s on a more personal basis rather than knowing them a minute and then them becoming a couple.
Jasper is looking for the love of his life. He isn’t one for casual hook ups like his twin brother Romeo. So when I mysterious fire starts at their bakery he meets the new detective.
Bennet is new in two and has not long broken up with his ex husband so he isn’t really looking to start something new. That is until he meets jasper and he knows the moment he see him that he wants that omega as his.
With a big surprise and a demented ex boyfriend they are in for a bumpy ride.
All in all it was a good story and I look forward to the next one in the series and see this new authors writing progress .
Overall, I thought that this story had some real potential, but I think a longer story would have been more appropriate to develop the characters and their interests, as well as explain some of their actions.
Jasper and his twin brother Romeo are both in the market for an alpha. When their bakery catches fire, Bennet appears on the scene to investigate. And sparks fly.
There was very little romance between Bennet and Jasper before things turned very serious. A bit more of them together would have been appreciated. Romeo had his own drama going on behind the scenes, but that wasn't fully flushed out either. I'm assuming his story will be next, so I'll be eager to see if his story is more realistic.
Lily Westbrook's debut novel, Small Town Omega is the first book in a series that I cant wIt to read more of. It is a great pick for those times you want a quick, sweet and light read... not that there isnt a taste of danger/drama... but that's exactly what it is a taste of it surrounded by a whole lot of sweet. Jasper and Bennet were great... I liked how instant their connection was. I do hope to one day read the stories of Romeo and Chase, I am interested to see what happens with those characters. Overall a good read.
I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.

3.5 stars
This was such a cute story and I really liked it.
Bennet and Jasper were so sweet together and their chemistry didn’t disappoint either. Their first kiss was captured beautifully; it was romantic and perfect.
The ending was intense but gripping nevertheless.
Chase’s longing for a particular omega was heartbreaking. I hope his story is next.
The book itself was paced well but towards the end it felt rushed. There were minor typos towards the end but nothing drastic that would hinder my enjoyment of the story.
This is the first book in The Boys Of Seedville Series. A sweet book but it felt unfinished. Although I liked the ending it felt rushed, uninformative and not as descriptive as it could’ve been. Events needed more detail to fill them out all through the book. As well as more dialogue between the characters. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters wonderful. Jasper and Bennet are the MC’s of this book. I liked the idea of the story I just don’t think that it was the book that it could’ve been. I was interested enough to check out the next book. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.
The first (but not last) book from a new to me authority. This was a cute, quick read. Jasper and Romeo St James are twins and polar opposites. Romeo is sassy and flirty, always looking for the next man in his life. Jasper is a romantic at heart who's looking for his HEA. When one of Romeo's ex's causes problems at their bakery, Bennet is the detective assigned the case. Bennet and Jasper quickly develop a relationship but on the way to their happy ending, there is some serious trouble. I'm hoping the series continues with Romeo's story. I can't wait.
What a book, I great start to I hope a new series!! The story was so good, I want more and too see what happens next and to who. As always I do not spoil boom because I think every has their own opinion. So read it and enjoy.
short and sweet and an interesting start to a new series.. this is the first ive read by this author.. not sure if debut or just the first for me haha.. but overall the writing is well done. the characters are fun and it made me smile.
The story is really cute but it was written in so many different persons of you cleaned it up it would be a lot better. Had a great story line and led up to a next book in the series. Sorry I just thought you should know what I liked and disliked about it
