Great collection for lovers of the Romantics. Earlier writers featured, such as Margaret Fuller and William Channing, are exceptional.

The anthology is extensive and includes nearly every poet who could be deemed 'transcendental.' Few are featured extensively with a couple exceptions. Selection, from what I'm aware, deftly puts on display the range, aims, and talents of these writers.
