Light on theory, heavy on examples, the book is more of a practical guide on the application of the treaty law, not the treaty law as such. As a result, not everything put forward in the book is universally valid, but certainly helpful in untangling untheoretical knots.

Curious references to many tangential issues, eg State succession, and wealth of pointers for further research.

Difficult but very useful read. There is a few books for the practitioners such this one. I found the book very interesting even if it is too centered on the practice of anglo-saxon western countries.
