Poet and science fiction writer who also signed herself as Sonya Dorman Hess or Sonya Hess. She won the Rhysling Award in 1978 for Corruption of Metals and a retrospective James Tiptree Jr Award in 1995 for When I was Miss Dow.
I really enjoyed the fast pacing of this novel, until it built and built and then suddenly ended. It felt like the author didn't know how to continue after what felt like the climax, so she just stopped altogether.
