Rate this book
In 'The Adventures of Junior & The Oil Monster– Part 2,' Junior discovers another very special connection he has with the Earth, a golden raintree that "refuels" him, giving him the energy to do the amazing things he does. Later, he and his two best friends, Jack and Seth, set out to discover the origin of the oil "slick." They do some research and learn a number of different ways that oil enters the ocean, other than through accidents. The boys decide to track down one of the most likely sources; and, in the process, a new power of Junior's is revealed to Jack and Seth. The boys promise to keep Junior's secret. Now, he is no longer alone with the changes coming over him. This is a story about learning, adventure, friendship and a deep love of the Earth.

Ramon “Absoloot” Robinson is an independent hip-hop artist who was born in northern California. He concentrates on creating positive music which often comes with a political twist and working with young people through non-profit organizations like Men 2 Boys Mentoring and Life Sports Fitness. He now lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with his wife Jackie and their young daughter.

Ramon’s main job is the one he always dreamed of, allowing him to make music wherever and whenever he chooses. His ability to make music and work with young people is nothing short of a lifelong passion and he has been using it to great effect, helping to steer youth in a more positive direction. He is also an ambassador for Life Sports Fitness and works closely with AVDA (Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse).
As a kid Ramon’s great love was for comic books and he has spent more than 10 years creating his own ones. They started out as lyric books to accompany the music he was releasing, but because of the positive feedback about them he decided to expand on the idea and create full stories for each song.
This hobby has since developed with Life Sports Fitness and now his books focus on social issues in the hope of creating much needed dialogue on matters such as race, bullying, domestic violence and so on.

When he has time to himself, Ramon spends every free moment writing ideas for new books or music, loves traveling and spends a lot of time speaking to youth groups.
As far as the future is concerned, Ramon believes in the Frederick Douglas quote – ‘it is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men’ and hopes that he can continue to work with young people and inspire them to follow their dreams and passions.
