Carpatho-Rusyn studies : an annotated bibliography

Rate this book
Among Slovakia's national minorities are Rusyns--also known as Ukranians who live in the far northeastern corner of the country. The existence of a Rusyn minority is not well known outside (and, to a remarkable degree, even inside) the borders of Slovakia; moreover, what is known is often a confused picture of a culture given different and often conflicting Russian, Ruthenian, Ukranian, Russian, East Slovak. This volume is a translation of a historical survey published in the newly codified Rusyn literary language, as well as in Slovak by the Rusyn Renaissance Society.
