I absolutely loved this storyline. This book was a very great read!! Hood was a trip! He was so mean but definitely had his sweet moments. He loved him some Skylar! That was more like his baby. Lol. Skyy was a good girl, but she had some drama going on in her life. I felt so bad for her and the nonsense she went through. Her mother was horrible. She treated Skyy so bad! Oh and that Ren I wanted to slap so many times in this book. He was beyond foul! The fact that he did what he did and didn’t care was beyond messed up! He didn’t care who his actions would affect. He made me so sick! On a good note Big Mama and Nina were a blessing. Those two had very kind hearts and I loved both of their characters! Big Mama knew how to handle Hood and he couldn’t do anything except listen whether he wanted to or not. Once their words began to sink in his head he got it together. He was definitely a good fit for Skyy. Whether or not he admitted it in the beginning he definitely had some hidden feelings. That Alexa chick though. Smh. She was delusional. I was glad when that situation came to an end. She felt entitled and didn’t even have a title. I will definitely be recommending this book to my friends and family! I know they would enjoy this book as well!!

I have read about some of these most trifling, scandalous, jealous, piss poor ass mother's and Denise definitely fit the description. The way she verbally and physically abused Skyy. Piss me off. After beating and putting out her pregnant seventeen year old daughter Skyy. It didn't take long to see what Denise problem was. She was jealous of her own daughter. I felt sorry for Skyy from the beginning of this book. Ren wasn't worth a damn either. Yes he was young but he knew better but he didn't care. Ren knew Skyy was green and he played on that. I was glad Skyy found out her mother and boyfriend betrayal. She didn't need them. Skyy still don't know how deep their betrayal is though. I was also glad Big Momma, Nina, Bria, and even Hood mean ass took Skyy and her daughter in and showed them how family loves properly. Hood tried to fight it but he was smitten with Skyy and her daughter. He also knows what it feels like to have a mother who isn't worth a damn and it was further proven with the way this ended. Hood and Nina mother brought trouble and chaos to his grandmother doorstep.

Drama drama
This was a really good read. Denise and Ten were too scandalous. I disliked her so much. Skyy went through a lot and didn't realize she was getting played until she had the baby. Mr. Hood, he was definitely a butt hole at first but Skyy got him to soften up at least for her. I hope everyone is ok and they find Ren too. I need for Starr secret to come out. Can't wait to see what happens.

I can’t believe she did that to us. How she just gonna end it like that. This book already had me on pins and needles from the gate. But then you go and do that to me. So cruel. This book was really good. Ima need her to whip her momma behind one more gin though. Clearly she didn’t get the memo the first time. I just know there’s a part 2 somewhere where somethings still have to be established ijs. Excellent book

I am so proud of Sky. She has been thru so much abuse and betrayal by the hands of her own mother and boyfriend, and has overcame and accomplished so much more. Her mother is just a waste of space and Ren ain't no better. I was glad when Hood stopped acting like a jerk and trying to fight his feelings for Sky but I think he should have flushed the condom instead of throwing it in Alexa's trash. Can't wait till part two.❤💕

I must say this is a great read. This book drew me in from beginning to end. I want Hood and Skyy together. I like how Big Mama and Nina protect Skyy. I know that Hood found a good one in Skyy. Now he needs to find Ren and

I’m ready for part 2
This book was definitely a page turner! I love stories that jump out from the beginning and can entertain you throughout the book!! Man Skyy had it hard from the beginning.. Thant mama wow somebody really needs to beat her A$$ for what she be doing.. And Ren, who would have ever thought he turned out to be like that.. Smh

Omg i hope no one is hurt with the gma or anyone at hood house except his mama can't believe she brought the man there. I hope they find Ren he.is.so trifling cant believe Skye mama i hope they get her too. She is so trifling she got no motherly instincts at all sad. Can't wait for part 2.

I hope they find Ren and give him what he deserves. Skyy's mom, Denise, is really trifling and wrong for how she treated Skyy. I hope Hood get his feelings and emotions together so him and Skyy can give be together officially. That ending was tragic. I wonder who was shot. I can't wait for part 2 to find out what happens next.

Pretty Good
Minus the typos, this was an ok read. Poor Skyy went through some stuff with her mom and Ren. They both did her so dirty. Thank God for Big Mama, Nina and Hood. Hood was a hoe but he loved him some Skylar though. Hope all is well with everyone and hope the author doesn't take long with part 2.

Wow
All I can say I really enjoyed this book. I loved how all the characters were well explained. It's crazy how your own mama sleeping with your man but to have a baby by him. I just wish she knew her sister was her baby dad child. I'm glad someone helped her n mold her. This story is so good.

Enjoyed from start to finish
Enjoyed this read from start to finish. This was my first read by this of and will not be my last. I will definitely be purchasing part two. The storyline was executed very well it was a nonstop read. Skye was such a sweet girl with the world against her. Hide is the hard on the outside but soft on the inside with a heart. GreAt job J. Dominique.

Sky went through so much and didn’t deserve none of it… All she wanted was to feel loved by the people who she called family. The mama need her behind drag to the deepest part of hell and take REN with her! Ain’t no way as a mother I would hate something that I gave birth to. She really was envious of her own child and REN ugly behind ain’t no better… Who needs enemy when you have family like this…. Nina , big mama even mean behind Hood were a God send for her and to her… Her being at that book store really saved her life. They really gave her all the love she’s never received…. Hood is bae. I really enjoyed this book and the journey of Skyy growing up and getting her life in order. Hood was everything to me. Something about him made him stand out. I hope him and Skyy get together.

That was a dope ass story I really enjoyed getting to know the characters. I love stories that show the underdog making waves past the haters .... can't wait to see how this ends I'm hoping bits either a cool ending or crazy cliffhanger.

I just never pictured their secrets were like that. Family will get you first. Bria was team Skyy all day and Rambo was funny. Headed to part 2. Good Job!
