This is a good book if you're just looking for a very basic guide for how to write the phrases it contains. However, there's no pronunciation explanation, so it's of no help when it comes to actually SAYING the phrases contained therein. Adding this guidance and/or an audio recording accompaniment would be a big help to making learning to both read and write AND speak these phrases a new skill. And with the excellent, easy-read layout of the book, it's simple to follow for all ages.

This is basic words for children and it is really fun to read this with the kids. They love to learn Spanish words and I enjoy sharing it with them. One of the best Spanish for young children books out there, with pictures.
