Ekadashi is one of the most popular fasts in Hinduism. ‘Ekadash’ in Sanskrit, means ‘Eleven’. Ekadashi is the eleventh day of Indian lunar calendar. There are two Ekadashis in one lunar month, one in Bright fortnight (Shukla Paksha) and another in Dark fortnight moon phase (Krishna paksha). Both Ekadashis, of Shukla paksha and Krishna Paksha are considered highly auspicious. Ekadashi Tithi is the day of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Ekadashi. Goddess Ekadashi and Lord Vishnu are the same. Ekadashi is the easiest way to attain the grace of Lord Vishnu. This book contains the stories of all 26 Ekadashis, including the two Ekadashis of Adhik Mas/ Purushottam Mas also.
