It took this couple a while to get to their HEA... I was so happy for them to stop all the madness and believe in one another. Bilal was an enigma most of the time, but I liked him still... Spring was like A breath of fresh air. I liked this couple totally. Even when they acted aloof, I knew things would be okay in their relationship. Overall, this was a great read. B. Hollidae is coming into her own.
Quick read and love all the characters. Truly a story of family and friends and finding what makes you happy. I loved the first book but this did not disappoint. Best Laid Plans grabs your attention but Gone Awry makes you curious about everyone and s
You want to know about everyone. This writer is added to my list to follow, just love both books. Awesome!
Worth the read strong, changing, sensitive, attentive, lovable, sure, confident and inspiring these are some of the words I think about reading this book. Real talk, truth. Wonderful message
This authors writing is superb. I can’t get over how great these stories are. I’m bummed as it seems the author hasn’t had a book since this series. I loved everything about the relationship between Bilal and Spring.
The 2 books in this series are solidly good reads. At first, I found the story to be slow but because Spring was an interesting character I hung in there. Soon I realized that the tempo of the book was perfectly in sync with where the characters ended up.
The characters are messy. The relationships are messy. Everything that happens is a mess. Even through all that Spring and Bilal work through it all and make a great romantic story. I love the conclusion of this story and the HEA.
Wow, I struggled to read this book. Ms. Hollidade was too wordy in this second installment. Spring was not living in her truth contrary to popular belief.
