Westerns are a form of romance novel. Idealistic. My mother used to say the men kissed their horses more than the women. Sounds about right. This one opens with a cowboy at death’s door, & then he’s rescued. Just in time to go after some bad guys. Wouldn’t you know it - he gets shot again. But he’s got hope in his heart. Somewhere along the way there’s a certain young woman…

I really did not enjoy the book. I thought the book was going to be all about guns but it mostly just about Garry and his wound. It was not for me but it might be for you.
