From time to time I choose a near-random mystery from the library shelves, just in case I find another great mystery series. George Bagby wrote many mysteries and crime novels, all a perfect length for a long winter's weekend night. Somehow it didn't click with me. A few passages did not lack interest, but overall the characters never really came together.
