Not sure which convention I picked this up at (might have been Anime Expo a few years ago), but I finally got to read it now. A solid 3 stars - I like it. It reads more like a mythology than a straight-up fantasy, as the distance between the reader and the characters feel even wider than normal. I dinged off a few stars, because I felt it could have been proofread another time or two. But overall, I enjoyed the story and the lore.

Awesome adventure! kudos to the team and author creating this story. I can tell it is going to continue to grow and get better which makes me very excited for this series. Sooooo glad to have something NEW to follow.

Great! love the story set up for a first book , has a really good feel. Was intimated at first because of length, but it was an easy read and felt too short at the end. good thing second book is out! Highly recommended!

The manga were so pulling i had to read this and i fell in love. blew right through it in just a few days.
there's a great, light hearted yet mysterious feel to the first book as you get to know the world, I absolutely love it!

I was a skeptic but gave it a chance, then almost gave it 1 star . I don't know why, but I gave it a second chance. I couldn't put it down it was like magic. I love this story. I cant give it anything other than 5 stars.

Riviting! Thought it would be kinda slow but it moves so fast it makes such a thick book seem short. great writing bhodi! so 5 stars! p.s still needs a little work on a few chapters editing wise but i was so entertained either way, cant wait for more ;)

Maybe , i dont like the writing style, or fantasy just isnt for me. With this book there might be a little of that but i dont think a single person will say "this isnt good" no matter who you are or where your from. great read!
