I studied with Daniel Greene, an excellent teacher, especially his how-to videos and dvds. Equally good are his oil techniques. They are essentially the same.

What’s a better way to learn about pastel than from the master himself? Well this book is pretty outdated, and a lot of them are in black and white. But it’s impressive to see how the pastel artwork that they can do in the past, with a very limited tools and with very limited layers. I am more than impressed. And to see how pastels are being done traditionally… It’s impressive. And of course, you learnt from the Daniel Greene himself from this book.
