Bloody paws lead to murder, dark plots, and lies in Willow Tree Falls.

Tempest is enjoying a quiet life after the chaos of her sister’s failed relationship has settled. Her cousins, Raine and Azura are in the village, and they always liven things up.

In an effort to cheer up Aurora, Tempest suggests she get an animal familiar. A visit to Fur Baby Emporium reveals the wonderful world of magic familiars, but an encounter with a feisty, feral cat leaves Wiggles nursing his wounds.

When the cat shows up again with blood-stained paws, Tempest is on the case. The discovery of a body in Fur Baby Emporium raises a host of questions. Not least, what was her cousin, Raine, doing arguing with the man just before he died?

With the angels getting involved, and Tempest keen to keep her cousin’s name out of it, she starts her own investigation. She soon discovers the bloody pawed cat is anything but average, the man who died was someone important from the Magic Council, and her doubts rear up when she learns her cousin is lying.

Throw in an enormous snake, a dark plot, and a haunted castle, and this is one mystery you won’t forget.

Join Tempest, Wiggles, and the cast of fun characters in the seventh book of the Crypt Witch cozy paranormal mystery series.

Bandit and Wiggles battle it out

Okay Bandit ad Wiggles were great and the storyline was good too but ...... I'm not sure were it went wrong but it just wasn't as good as the previous books. It just seemed to fall down in the 'wow' stakes. Lots of witches, magic, ghosts, demons and angels. But it never answered why Bandit had been transformed.
Her sister is having a hard time coping in the aftermath of her fiance's death, even though he truly deserved it. Perhaps a familiar would be the ideal thing to lift her mood. After all even the arrival of more family hasn't managed to do that. A murder, a Council representative, another murder, a talking cat (who is actually a fairy that has been permanently transformed), fights with Wiggles and one of her cousins arrested for murder. Can she find out the real killer and the real reason why?

Entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series

This is an entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series. A great cast of characters in a fun and slightly darker storyline. Tempest crypt is a witch. She lives in a small mostly supernatural town protected by a magical barrier. Although humans do come to visit the Hot Springs on occasion. The town is full of supernatural. The crypt family guards the demon prison which resides underneath the town cemetery. Tempest owns her own pub and is a rogue Demon Hunter. She goes outside of their small town to capture escaped and rogue demons. She also helps the local law enforcement team which actually are angels called angel force. On occasion with the help of her family friends her hell hound dog she helps them solve crimes murders and other issues going on. Check it out very entertaining.

Tempest is back along with her rather smelly hellhound. A friend of hers wants to get a familiar so they go to the Fur Baby Emporium. There's an odd, very nasty cat there, though. Not finding a familiar they leave.

Only later to encounter a dead body (in the Emporium), an owner that's not forthcoming with information, a cat that talks, the usual incompetent angel force, a relative that might just be guilty of murder, another murder, a relative that might be involved with the Council and a very powerful, ultra-nasty entity.

It's another good book in this series.

Great Story!

This is such a terrific story! Great characters and a wonderful plot make for a thoroughly enjoyable read. Once again, Tempest, Wiggles and all the gang lead us into another adventure packed full of twists and turns that keep you guessing right to the end. I love this series! I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy of this book and found it so enjoyable that I bought it immediately. I highly recommend it to you.

Magic Council murders?

The angels are bumbling yet another murder investigation and, of course, a Crypt witch is accused of being the killer. At least Tempest is not a suspect this time and is free to investigate. Plenty of twists and fast paced action makes this a wonderful must read.

So good!

Another great book in this series! Bandit and Wiggles had me cracking up the whole time. I’m glad she’s going to continue to be a part of this series. I was, once again, surprised by who the killer was. I’m definitely never going to be sleuthing myself, but I love reading these cozy mysteries!

Another great story

I am a fan of this series. The story moves along with the help of a new familiar. The talking cat is hilarious. Tempest seems to balance her life, job, demon and family without going crazy. This is another enjoyable adventure by K. E. O'Connor.

A good mystery.

Tempest has murders to solve. She also has to keep Wiggles and a car from killing each other. I like the plot, characters and humor.
