This time around, we accompany Annie on her journey to her mates, all the way to Texas, where she encounters unforeseen troubles.
The narrative unfolds with more demons, family drama, and a touch of black magic, creating a very intense and tension-filled story.
True to the series' pattern, it maintains its signature blend of sweetness and spice 🌶️

Somewhere between 4 and 5 ⭐️’s

I fell in love with this series during book one and now I cannot wait to get my hands on each new installment as West drags us further and further into her fantastic shifter world!! This time we gets Annie's story as she travels to Texas to visit her brother as well as helping with a war going on. Upon arrival she scents her mates and of course they have to be totally unacceptable at that time due to who they are. There is quite a bit of drama, fighting, and more going on before this group can even begin to work things out that will keep you turning the page as it gets better and better. A fantastic addition to this amazing series and a total must read for fans of steamy wolf shifter RH. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

Heaven help me I cannot get enough of this Series!! Each individual addition has kept me on the edge of my seat and this one is no different. Hungry for her Wolves books are incredibly entertaining. With each group the characters are all different, but you just cant help but love each and everyone of them. In this one you will meet Annie Thunderfoot and her human brother Roy. What starts off as hopefully a simple situation turns in to all out war. Throw in possible mates, a crazy Alpha and posdible Demonic persuasion s and you have an action packed novel that will keep you up all night reading! I could not put this down!!

This is a great series that hooked me from book 1! They are well written with fantastic storylines and I absolutely adore the characters and the shifter world that the author has built and wait eagerly for each book! Drama, action, fighting, shifters, mates and so much more, this latest story is every bit as good as the previous ones.

Worth Fighting For

Fighting For Her Wolves is a standalone in the series but personally, I believe it is best to read the series in order. By reading in order, it will give the reader a better understanding of who Annie is and what she lived through that made her the independent and intelligent woman she is now.

Read to find out what it takes to fight for family, tradition, mates, and love.

I have read every book so far in this series and this episode lets us get to know Annie, a character we met earlier. I like how these books are connected through the characters, it feels like we get to re-visit friends. As always there is so much going on, life is never easy for these people. When she meets her mates it is not an ideal situation, as she has been thrown into a war between packs, and there is so much drama, fighting, and crazy things happening, that it sometimes seems insurmountable. But no spoilers here, just pick up this book and see how it all unfolds. You won't regret it. This author's imagery draws you right in, like you are right there feeling it all. Definitely a 5-star book for me.

This is a great series

Like always this was a really great book. I am enjoying this series very much. I did want to point out that the author did not do a very good job with describing the characters in this one. I don't know what the males really look like. I know they have sun-kissed skin and dark hair, I think their "Protecters" are grey with hornsand the "wolves" were not described at all but I am assuming are gray. I have questions and that did make it harder to relate to the characters in this book. I cannot wait for the next book.

Ok I love this series 🥰🥰🥰
But this one pissed me off Annie is kind of an asshole and I don’t think she deserves her mates at all the way she treats them and how much of a hypocrite she is just annoyed me the whole book.
The story felt super rushed and you didn’t really get to enjoy them falling in love and the sex scenes were limited and rushed.
The whole demon and black
Magic thing was also ridiculous can we get back to good story lines please hoping the next book reads better
Would skip this book if I could go back wasn’t anywhere as good as the first 5

Oh My! I REALLY love the world that Tara writes! I feel like I'm there, but in the background, watching things happen and helping out when I can. Not as one of the characters, but as myself, as part of the clan. This story has so MUCH! Wolves, Chupacabra, Demons, a Witch, and the obligatory poopyhead. We all have to have one in our lives to show us the good. LOL! I'm hoping her characters keep clamouring for her to chronicle their antics for years to come! Just click! You know you wanna!

You never get bored with a book by Tara West, from the minute you open the pages you are immersed in action, adventure, drama and don’t forget the hot and steamy. I’m a big fan of this reverse harem shifter series and Tara has the ability to leave you completely satisfied.. yet wanting more!

Annie, her wolves, pack life, crazed chieftain and so much more but no spoilers just a drama filled ride... you must read it to find out what happens

Another great Story

I love this series. I love the world building and how so much of it has been connected even with three different female characters. Though I wish to see more of Annie and her guys in their own books instead of just being a standalone. I can’t wait to see what is next in the world of Amaroki

This book has a lot going on in it. I was a bit worried that the mates that Annie was destined for wouldn't get their stuff together. She is strong, they seemed weak. But, have faith in the author! Lots of action, really bad villains, lots of heat, and quite a few surprises kept the pages turning.

Great read!

I really enjoyed reading Annie's story. Annie once again proved how strong she is, and she has equally strong mates. Loved reading about Amara and Eilea too.

Wonderful and exciting!

This book

‼️Triggers = Parental meňtal & physical abůse, physical handicap, Kidnäpping, s3x traffïckers (you only see held girls, no details) violënce, gůns, deåth,

This book was slightly different as it’s in Texas this time, but equally as brilliant as the others.

Roy had gone to Texas as their new government liaison to warřing packs. So Annie tagged along with Tor & Van as they went to support and help. On the journey she scent her mate, they also scent her!!
Only her mates were sons to a madman, who bůllied, physically abůsed and beråted them constantly!
Magnus, Raine, Jax & Frey were not living a good life at the hands of their father. They’d lost their mother and lead Alpha to a s3x trafficker attack, along with Magnus loosing his hand and their gamma being badly injured, they were all suffering mentally.
Annie made it clear she wouldn’t be mating to a weak and feeble pack who couldn’t stand up to their madman of a father. This kick Raine, Jax and Frey into action to be better, Magnus though had a hard time to come out of his depression as their father blamed their mother’s death on him totally on a daily basis!

There is also a wild chupacabra kilļing humans and two demön succubus s3x träfficķers, who upon taking over Roy had found out the secrets to the Amaroki and their weaknesses. Here a whole barrage of trouble came!

This was such a brilliant book, with demöns, succubus taking over people, rescuing stolen woman and lots of drama and adventures. We also see more of Annie’s ancient god fathers, which was fab.

Highly recommend!!

I keep questioning if this series can get worse, and it does with this book.

The whole series is incredibly sexist, and that doesn't change with this book.

The main male characters all seem to have the same redemption arc, they smile, hold hands, or even look at the FMC and all their bad behavior is forgiven and ultimately they have sex.

FMC says no to touching or sex, and the MMC's ignore it and touch them anyway, and the FMC just gives in every time.

What makes this book especially disgusting is the author introduces sex trafficking and ableism as the plot of this book.

The human father of Roy and Annie, as mentioned in Desperate For Her Wolves, was punished btly the ancients for mistreating Amara, Roy and Annie's cousin. He ended up paralyzed. The author is framing disability as a punishment by doing this.

The idea of disability as a punishment is made even more clearb when Roy basically just excuses all his fathers abuse against his sister and cousin and he wants Annie to forgive and forget. Roy says to Annie "he's a paraplegic, he's been punished enough."

Human trafficking as the plot in this book is just trauma porn. The audacity of the author to have trafficking as a plot point while all the MMC's just don't care about consent is something else.

And yes, in every book, ALL the male characters ignore the FMC when she says no, or doesn't want to complete the mating. And that's what gets labeled as being cherished and protected.

In this book, some of Annies mates and Annie go on a run, of course when they reach their destination her mates want to feel her up. She says no but just gives in. Later on when all her mates are back together (because Magnus the Alpha wasn't invited) Magnus gets angry that his brothers "marked" Annie without him and his brothers say she begged for it. She said no and they did it anyway, she gave in. THAT'S NOT BEGGING FOR IT.

Yet another branch - Annie's story!

Annie was visiting Texas with two of her fathers during a bit of civil unrest within the tribe there. When they got to the Chiefton's house (voted as such by the tribe), a truck showed up with four young men in it. You guessed it - Annie's mates. More predictably? They were from the rival pack, the sons of the PREVIOUS Chiefton who the tribe had mostly voted out. They all still believed he had the position. They and their fathers all show up after the sons caught whiff of Annie's scent and demand they hand her over. Declaring she was not a prized cow, she refused and went inside the new Chiefton's house. Between the way the sons' father treated her and the way none of them stood up for her, she decided they weren't worth it and would refuse to mate them. Distraught, the boys started working to win her over.

Meanwhile, there were a couple of demons on the loose. One takes a particular interest in Annie and wants to kidnap her for various reasons. Her mates, brother Roy, fathers, and herself all have to deal with the demons, a trafficking ring, AND the moody father throughout the book. On top of all of that? There's also someone from her past she does NOT want to deal with, but Roy insists she visits. The girl can't catch a break!

Honestly, I keep wanting to move on from these books to get into something else for a bit, but then I read the preview of the next books and get yanked RIGHT back in again. If it keeps happening, at least there's only like 11 books total, and I'm moving onto #6, so I'm halfway there! Right?

Annie's story was exactly what I had expected. Seeing her and her brother Roy's continued growth in their relationship was heartwarming, especially with how she had to work through her deep-seated daddy issues regarding Roy's disabled father. I think that relationship was very well thought out and developed throughout the last two books, and seeing its continued growth during this book was perfect.

I also enjoy how the author incorporates lore from various regions into the stories. The Chupacabra is one of those horror stories that Hispanic aunties and mamas tell their kids about to ensure they behave. This story puts a whole new twist on the tale.

My intuition tells me that Annie's story will get more complicated in later books, but I'm excited to continue with these characters in the next book.

Tara West did an incredible job of telling Annie’s story. Let’s start off with:

“She’d survived the foster care system, rape attempts and even ravenous werewolves. She could survive being mated to four idiots”

The Amoraki story continues as we learn of families being destroyed by demons, losing loved ones and going through emotional & physical withdrawals. Family is so important to the Amoraki and we learn just how much in Annie’s story. Not only does she find her mates but how much it’s worth fighting for.

“It’s not good for your soul to hold onto old grudges”

“Thank you for waiting patiently”

This is a perfect love story with lots of action!! You will not be disappointed with this RH Paranormal.

Iam shocked by good ratings of this book.
You know i was not huge fan of other books as well but my biggest problem was the writing, how predictable books was, yet they still kept me interested and I would finish them in one day and would come back read next one.
Iam not sure that's gonna happen after this one.
This was officially the worst book in this series so far.
Annie's character was awfully written, she was kind of a bit*h i would dare to say, i don't this she deserved mates she got, i honestly couldn't stand her character in this book

Iam not sure was she meant to be this way or just author didn't write her character properly.
I hope it was just bad writing as I don't understand how could anyone like her if she supposed to be this way.

More demons?

I thought this story was less about Annie finding her mates and more about demons. Tara's stories are fast moving into demon adventures which I am becoming bored with.
The mates in this story, Magnus, Raine, Jax and Frey seemed rather on the weak side in my opinion and the sex scenes are now becoming so repetetive that there is nothing new to look forward to. I hope the next story moves away from demons and breaks new territory bringing a refreshing change.

book 5 of 12

I am so happy with this series! I usually don’t even look twice at a series that has more than 3 or 4 books within it. BUT THIS ONE IS SO WORTH IT!! I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every book! I am so please with the writing style and correct grammar and spelling in these books. I have had bad luck lately reading some almost non edited books or some with awful editing. These wolf packs are my bread and butter!! 🥰🤤
