This is a tremendous writing of the history of the Douglas Lake Cattle Company. I enjoyed reading this story of BC history. I found the section on how the financing of this large ranch was handled. It was an education for me. If you have an interest in the history of British Columbia this book is it. It covers not only the story of the ranch and its operations but how the ranch affected the growth and changes in BC.
