Mouth

Mouth is the official publication of the 2018 MA Authorial Practice Illustration Forum. Fifteen illustrators whose practices entwine with poetry have been invited to contribute pieces in response to Mouth, this year's forum theme. This publication is the result, showcasing the relationship between their writing and visual practices; between illustration and poetry.

Our special guest poets Em Strang, Alyson Hallet, and Hanna Levene have submitted pieces to be visually interpreted in an illustrative partnership.

The resulting work sits excitingly in the space between poetry and illustration, and continues the conversations of the forum around practices and ideas that speak to Mouth.
