A surprisingly compelling read. A very good adaptation of the source material. It feels very natural to read. Accidentally bought both Raw and Extreme, but it doesn't really matter. Would recommend to anyone interested in the bible, or just in more gritty manga.

This really isn't the sort of text I would normally pick up. More surprisingly, it isn't the type of text I expected to enjoy. Imagine the bible, but with some humour and engagement. It's an interesting way to present it, but seeing as I enjoyed reading it and have not before enjoyed reading parts of the bible, I was rather happy. Would definitely use this in the classroom to encourage children to be open to religions and build up understanding of other people's beliefs.
