James Keenan was born in Los Angeles, Calif. He grew up drifting through the West Coast and Southwest of the United States. He graduated high school in El Paso, Texas, and later earned his BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with his major focus being in anthropology and archaeology. James has had multiple careers that included law enforcement. James has traveled the world in order to document strange or out of place historical anomalies. He currently lives in the greater Phoenix, Ariz., area with his wife and teenage son.
