Cuando existíamos como familia, había electricidad, y vehículos particulares, y trenes de alta velocidad, y ordenadores, y redes sociales. Había calor en los hogares, y había sitios llenos de productos que podían comprarse para ser consumidos. Pensar en familia era retroceder a los tiempos remotos antes del Impacto. Tengo pocos recuerdos de esa época, y los que tengo, son apenas consistentes y a veces, se confunden con los sueños. Mi nombre es Max Azul, pero no soy quien digo que soy. Soy otro en este otro mundo, el de después del Impacto.

There was heat in the homes, and there were places full of products that could be bought to be consumed. To think of family was to go back to the ancient times before the Impact. I have few memories of that time, and the ones I do have are hardly consistent and are sometimes confused with dreams. My name is Max Azul, but I am not who I say I am. I am another in this other world, the one after the Impact.

Passa els primers 18 anys entre la capital de l'Empordà i Roses, població veïna i de mar que apareix sovint en els seus escrits (MAX, Les vacances d'un senyor de Malmö, Show, L'habitació d'en Lionel...). El seu pare, Vicenç Burgas (Sant Feliu de Guíxols 1930 - Figueres 1992) era telegrafista, periodista i poeta, i la seva mare, Carme Trèmols, professora de dansa.

Me tenía que leer este libro para ver si es apto para secundaria, la verdad es que es un libro muy blanco y que engancha rápido, me ha gustado mucho aunque ya no esté en esta onda literaria distópica.

Libro juvenil. Es una distopía contada de manera genial, muy cinematográfica, de lectura agradable y con la dosis perfecta de intriga y de sorpresas. Muy recomendable.
