A wounded soldier and an omega chained to his past. Can love heal them both?

Fletcher Strong lives by a creed: once a Marine, always a Marine. He lost his mother, his father, and after coming home from war, became an artist with the hope of finding peace. A Denver curator, Chuck Nolte, has agreed to show his work, but when he sees him put his hands on a sweet, helpless omega, he knows that no matter what their arrangement, as a former Marine, he can’t sit by and do nothing. He has to act.

Jessie is stuck. His dad is gone, his mom works too many hours, and to survive, he works at an art gallery for Chuck, his abusive ex who still thinks he owns him and wants him back. Jessie wants nothing to do with him, but one night after a gallery showing, Chuck won’t take no for an answer.

Fletcher is blown away when he catches the scent of his fated-mate, but there’s a big problem; Chuck thinks he still belongs to him and getting involved with him could put their entire arrangement and Fletcher’s career in jeopardy. But when he catches Chuck making very unwanted advances on Jessie, he makes a choice that will change everything.

Fletcher saves Jessie from Chuck’s grasp and takes him home with him. The two know that they are meant for each other, and Fletcher wants nothing more than to put a cub in his belly and bind him to him forever. But Chuck is furious, and vows to blacklist Fletcher from the Denver art community and destroy his career—or worse.

Fletcher is determined to keep Jessie safe, but will he be able to do so while still maintaining his livelihood? And what will they do if Chuck comes back looking to reclaim what he thinks is his?

Fated Omega is the 3rd installment in the Wolves of Mist Peak series and is full throttle romance and toe curling hotness that will keep you up with your Kindle wishing you had just a few more minutes to read before bed. Filled with knotty treats, an unstoppable alpha and a sweet, sassy omega with a guaranteed HEA. Don’t wait, treat yourself!

This story has no spine, no vertebrae! I read it in less than half an hour as there was nothing to read at all. Except for the cliché title, the charmless cover, the way-too-friendly narration, the flat development, the nonexistent suspense, the obvious ending, the perverted dialogues and the as-much-lewd characters... it's nothing to write home about. As I said it above, this story has no spine, no consistency.

There's no point in writing a book when it feels like the author held their breath until it was finished. It felt rushed, the author just wanted to say "I completed a book" and "I added another load to the heap" .. it's of no use to write if it's not to leave an undying memory in the reader's mind.

Asking people to pay for something that's not worth their time and money is as good as stealing their time and money directly. I'd have been furious if I paid for this!

Sadly, this is another author that I won't read anymore.

Even though I didn't like the first book in this series. I decided to give this one a try as the blurb sounded enticing. It wasn't like the first book...somehow it was worse. The story was two dimensional, it had no depth and worse off all...the sex scenes were like a copy and paste version of the first one. The story is the same as well...There wasn't much difference. The writing came off as amateurish and because of the repeated dialogue...I couldnt suffer this novel anymore.

Review in English and Polish || Recenzja po angielsku i polsku

To financially support his mother who, without any complaints, brought him up all alone, Jessie works in his ex-boyfriend's art gallery. The reason for their breakup was the fact that Chuck, Jessie's ex, cheated on him, but the man doesn't feel guilty at all. On the contrary, everything indicates that he hopes to renew his relationship with Jessie. The boy's situation is quite complicated, and yet it becomes even more difficult when the gallery organizes an exhibition of works created by Fletcher Strong, a former military who turns out to be Jessie's fated mate.

For the third time, Aspen Gray takes us for a romantic run alongside her wolves of Mist Peak. In "Fated Omega", her newest story, she presents another version of a princess in need of saving and knight who saves her motif. However, this time our omega is not as innocent as the last two, which in my opinion seems to stress the fact that this series places the said motif in our times. What's more, the story presented in "Fated Omega" is undoubtedly sweet and funny, and what's probably the most important, it's full of life. Reading it, the audience smiles for the most part of it and really feels the energy that fills not only every page of "Fated Omega", but also each of its characters.

And since we're talking about the characters... One of the most inspiring and really great ones that appear in this story is Jessie's mom. What can I say, we love this woman from the first moment we meet her in this story, because even then we see that she is simply amazing. She has so much sweetness, love and positive energy in her. that she conquers our hearts in the blink of an eye . What's more, to Jessie she is not only his mother but also a friend, thanks to which the mother-son dynamic is fantastic. To be honest, it would be my greatest pleasure to read a little more about her, and I would like to see her in a grandmother and mother-in-law role. I really miss her already. Well, I would really like to see her in this series once again, even if only for a short time in one of the following volumes. This mum rocks!

Looking at "Fated Omega" from the perspective of the first two volumes of the series, I must admit that on the one hand, this story undoubtedly contains elements that are a breath of fresh air, but on the other, I missed here something totally new. It is, as I mentioned at the beginning of this review, a different version of the same motif, so we find here both similarities and differences. This is not a disadvantage of the series, but it is also not an advantage. Thus, it all depends on whether we like Jessie and Fletcher's story presented by Aspen Gray or not. But I'm quite sure that "Fated Omega" can appeal to many readers for many different reasons, some of which I mentioned in this review.

In summary, "Fated Omega" is mostly a very positive story which we read really fast, with a smile on our faces and with great pleasure. The characters are energetic, interesting and we start to like them in a record time. What's more, this story is undoubtedly one of the reasons we wait impatiently for the next volume of the series.

____________________________

A skoro o bohaterach mowa.

“What’s your name?” I asked him. “J-Jessie,” he replied. “Jessie Williams.” “I’m Fletcher Strong. How would you like to be Jessie Strong?” - Fletcher

Warnings: Typical Shifter Violence, Drug Use, Attempted SA of a MC, MPreg

The Basics

Overall:
1st Person, Dual POV
3rd Act Break Up: No
Slow-burn: No
HEA: Yes
MC Sex w/o Other MC(s): No
Spice: 2.5/5
Angst/Stress: 1/5
Fluff: 2/5
Structure/Format/Flow: 3.75/5
Overall: 4/5

Intimate/Spicy Moments Include:
Handjob, blowjob, bareback, roadhead, face fucking, anal sex, light spanking, multiple orgasms, hands free orgasm, daddy kink (no age play), heat sex, marking, breeding, throat fucking, spitting in mouth, hand necklace, knotting, strict roles

Main Character Information:
Fletcher: Alpha wolf shifter, ex-Marine turned artist, 27, shaggy brown hair of an artist and the physique of a bodybuilder
Jessie: Omega wolf shifter, works at art gallery, 19, blonde hair, green eyes

My Opinion:
Fletcher, an Alpha making his way in the art world as a painter, and Jessie, an Omega who has to work for his abusive ex to keep the lights on, find their fated mate in each other during Fletcher’s show. Love at first sniff. The rest is history, just like Chuck is going to be LOL. Fletcher had a cheesy pick up line around 13% that made me laugh. From reading the description, I thought the blacklisting was going to be more impactful to their relationship, maybe more strainful? But Fletcher was more like, meh. I wish Jessie would have learned what happened with Chuck. Like the others, this was a strange mix of romance and erotica in a very short time frame. I did like the intimate scenes more in this one. Sexy and fun!

Things That Are The Same As Most Of The Series:

I’d survived war, I’d returned to civilian life, fought to become an artist, found my fated-mate and defended him from Chuck, and now I’d bred him. My life would never be the same again. - Fletcher

Consider this a filler book

Keep in mind I read about 10 to 15 hours a day. With my insomnia some days of course, it's more. This series gets a 4 out of 10 on lust and shenanigans. This series isn't really a series unless you base it off of one character and the town. And SHE'LL never be a main character. Just a mention here and there when shit hits the fan. Consider it an easy laid-back read to fill your time. As the series progresses, it gets a bit condescending. Makes you feel like reading a "somewhat" (and I'm using this term loosely) dirty romance has to be so repetitive in a descriptive aspect. Just because you have an open mind doesn't means you're supposed to be lacking in inside the chrome dome department. Seems like the author was trying to explain just to fill the pages or they really think people are lacking the basic brain synapses.

A short and sweet read

Jessie was working for his jerk of an ex-boyfriend at his art studio. Fletcher was the featured artist for the night and just happen to be Jessie’s fated mate.

“After the show. I’ll come for you. Wait for me.”

Jessie and Fletcher are cute together. Fletcher had me laughing a few times at his personal jokes, and Jessie was just a really sweet guy. Fletcher was definitely the strong, protective Alpha type and it was nice to see him stick up for Jessie against his ex.

This story is similar to the others in the series, but still an enjoyable short read.

So, everything that was bad in the first two books was worse here. It's like the author put in no effort at all.
The plot line for all three books are exactly the same: Omega is in danger of being abused by another Alpha, fated-mate steps in and whisks him away, sex, enemy Alpha returns but is chased away, heat, more sex, 4 months skipped, enemy attack coincides with day of birth, enemy killed, happy end.
Even the sex scenes feel copy+pasted, the dirty talk is awkward and forced and those ridiculous metaphors continue...

I received this book by the author and this is my honest opinion.
I enjoyed this book, I liked Fletcher and Jessie. Jessie after finding out how his boyfriend chuck has been cheating breaks up with no it on the same night he meets Fletcher an artist and his mate. I liked there relationship and their sweetness. There was a bit of angst from the ex boyfriend trying to muscle back in but it all ended happily for Jessie and Fletcher and a bouncing baby at the end. Nice read😊

This whole series is so good. You find yourself so enthralled with these couples that you find out what love is all about and what it takes to make it work. In this one we meet Jessie and Fletcher, two unlikely people to meet but they shoe us that you can get through anything if you try. I hope that there is more to come. This series is worth reading. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy.

Fletcher saves Jessie from a corrupt ex boyfriend (Chuck) after realizing that they are fated mates. The characters were very engaging (except for Chuck, of course) :) with drama that drew me into the story. The ending was precious and it warmed my heart. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Excellent and very steamy read. =)

This is book three of the series and it might be my favorite so far. It’s short, quick, and witty. Fletcher and Jesse are fated mates. Their storyline is cute and not as strait laced serious as a lot of books we see now. I really enjoyed this.

I read and voluntarily reviewed an arc of this story.

OK

It was ok up to 50% and then I just started to flick through pages. I think more could have been done with the Chuck situation but obviously more sex was needed instead.
