The oldest of four, Enzo Moretti has sacrificed his own needs for his family time and time again. Now that his siblings are on the right path, he’s ready to find his own happiness. During his local morning coffee run, he’s drawn to a redhead with a nice body. It’s not until she turns around that he realizes the auburn bombshell is none other than the formerly blonde Cami, the owner of the coffee shop and his baby sister’s best friend.
Cami Martin seems to have her life together, which is what she’s made everyone believe. In reality, she’s tired, overworked, and unable to give up control on anything in her life. When she gets a flat tire, and her best friend’s gorgeous older brother helps her out, she doesn’t anticipate the single act to fuel a growing attraction to a man who has become a thorn in her side.
As the two polar opposites spend more time together, they begin to discover that they have more in common than they ever imagined. But will the thing that bring them together be the very thing that tears them apart?

“It’s love, and it’s complicated and messy and when it’s right it is completely unavoidable.”
This is part of the small town/sibling series Willow Cove. Complete Opposite is book #3 but can be read as a stand alone.
Cami and Enzo have known each other for years and have always had a simmering attraction that they buried deep because, well, Cami was Enzo’s little sister’s best friend and younger then him. As they grew older, their personalities and their lives drifted in opposite directions and it was easier to friend zone each other than risk starting something more.
When the blinders come off, their true feelings for each other coming roaring to the surface and these two find themselves finally on the same page and ready to take that chance of finally being together.
The title sums up these two perfectly because Cami is used to being independent and she likes and is content with her single lifestyle the way it is. She likes her me time and so far, quick summer flings with tourists has been her go to whenever she gets lonely.
On the other hand, Enzo has been the father figure for his younger siblings since he was a teen. He’s taken on a lot of responsibilities and likes things to be ordered and routine. He’s always thought of his future and seen the loving wife, the kids and the white picket fence.
The first half was really slow. It introduced the characters and started hinting at their attraction but it was definitely a slow burn type of read with both MCs waffling about whether or not to take the plunge. The second half was great, the MCs fall into being in a relationship like fish to water. They have family and friends who support them, they have sizzling chemistry and they genuinely like and respect each other.
There’s some conflict that comes up when their perfect relationship starts veering towards forever and living together comes up pretty fast, scaring our heroine, Cami, who gets cold feet and tries to backpedal.
Overall a good summer read - the story takes place in a small beach town - with mild drama, some waffling and a sweet, feel-good ending.

Small Town, steamy romance, with witty characters.
"Complete Opposite " is book three in Theresa Paolo's Willow Cove series. While this could be read as s stand alone novel with no cliffhangers and its own happily ever after ending, I would recommend reading the series in order, so you can experience Ms Paolo's talent fully. Her Willow Cove series features a small New England coastal town with all the quirky personalities typically found in a place where everyone knows your name.
"Complete Opposite" introduces another member of the Moretti family, sexy Enzo, the oldest. His love story includes his sister's best friend. The story is funny at the same time full of romance and sexual tension that keeps you engrossed in finding out how these two will ever work out together. As usual Theresa Paolo has created two very entertaining characters who fit perfectly in the small town environment of Willow Cove.
Once again, I found myself wanting to book a flight to the East Coast so I could find Willow Cove and experience it all for myself. Me Paolo had me forgetting it is the dead of winter and that most of New England is experiencing blizzards! And I HATE winter! But reading "Complete Opposite" it is forever summer and even beach sex is fabulous and not the itching sand in all the wrong places experience I know it truly is! Only a talented writer could make me forget reality that completely!
There is also a few scenes with a clever seagull that steals the show, as far as I'm concerned. And so many delightful town elders that provide more than a few laugh out loud moments, you may want to be careful where you read this. However, a busy rural beauty salon in the hind-end of Missouri, turned into a delightful book club moment, when I coughed up my tea reading about the battle of the seagulls!
I highly recommend this very entertaining book ,especially if you are looking to run away from home for a brief respite. Theresa Paolo will provide you a wonderful virtual escape!
Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. (Good reads starred 3 - I liked it.)
His Complete Polar Opposite is a short, simple and sweet romance with a great setting. Willow Cove is full of charm with a likeable cast of side characters and a very likeable Hero. Cami is a little less likeable for me, although I admire her drive and independence.
*spoilers*
Cami and Enzo both like to be in control of their lives and this results in the conflict that they have to overcome. My gripes with this story is that the conflict is passed too easily. It was simple, and it really didn't feel like it was make or break for the couple. I feel it needed a little more boom and drama. The repetition of information is a little much. For example Cami lets the reader know she knows nothing about changing a cars tire many times in just a few pages. And I know the repetition of fixing the tire is deliberate but even I wanted to hit Enzo over the heard once he was past mentioning it 5 times. There also seemed to be a different framing of their relationship in the first chapter (Cami PoV). It felt different to that from chapter two onward where we find out that they talk, she gets advice from him and they seem to get along just fine. I've gone back to reread the first chapter after finishing and still feel that they're more antagonistic.
I really love the setting of the book - the small town, coffee shop, Italian restaurant, shore front. The visiting seagull was a nice, unique addition. I think with a little more character building and a more impactful conflict this story could be brilliant. The core story and plot points are great.
The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
This is book three in the series and each book reads as a standalone but why read one when you can read them all. Enzo sexy as all get out who cares deeply for his family, now it is his time to find what’s missing, but he already knows what or who is missing problem is she is his sister’s best friend. Cami has always had a crush on Enzo but couldn’t say anything because he was her best friends’ older brother, and we stress older especially in age. The chemistry between the two of them has always been intense but they both held back on their attraction and as fate would have it, life took them both in different directions but fate also, brought them back together so the question is will they ignore the chemistry and the magnetic pull that is so intense they can’t ignore it, is there happiness written from them?

This is book three in A Willow Cove Series and it is Enzo and Cami's story and omg it is a brilliant book. Enzo and Cami have history as they have been in each other's lives in what seems like forever and they are the total opposite in every way but there attraction to each other is so strong. This book will have you laughing and frustrated with everything that is going on and the situations that happens but it is a real page turner and I couldn't put it down. The characters and storyline pulled you in right from the first page until the last one and I had to keep reading to see what would happen next. Theresa Paolo is a brilliant author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.

Cami has to be in control of every aspect of her business and she turns down help because of her independent stubborn ways. Enzo was forced to grow up too fast caring for his younger siblings. As a result he has the need to do things for those he loves even if they don't want him to like replacing Cami's tire when she keeps putting it off and trying to ease her work burdens. The passion between them burns pretty hot once they admit they are attracted to each other, but Cami fears commitment and Enzo taking over her life. I thought it was funny that she has to be in control on certain things, but then she no trouble engaging in law breaking behavior. There were practical jokes and plenty of funny moments in this steamy romance. Cami has a good support system with her friends if only like Enzo she'd let others assume their share of the responsibilities and relinquish some control.
Fun and super cute small town romance! Love the small town vibe, and the bits of humor and lightness to the story. Enzo and Cami are super adorable together! He’s her best friend’s older brother; they’ve known each other since they were kids, and are now noticing how attractive the other is and the chemistry between them. Both are likable characters; Cami definitely has a lot of quirkiness to her. I liked Enzo’s light stoicism and his protective nature; his heart shines too! I appreciate that he didn’t try lying to himself about his attraction and what he wanted from Cami; unfortunately, Cami chose to do that a bit. I do get tired of issues with commitment being the source of conflict in romances, but I still really enjoyed this read. Steamy, sweet goodness!
Cami and Enzo have known each other for a lifetime as Cami is the best friend of Enzo’s little sister. Although on the outside it seems that there are complete opposites, both have more things in common than they think: both sacrifice themselves for their families always putting their needs first, both work hard to make their businesses succeed and both are quite stubborn. Their continuous banter is😂😂😂. Although Enzo and Cami have grow up together, it is not until now that they begin to see each other with different eyes. And when Cami has an accident at work hurting her ankle and Enzo takes care of her, that is when the spark ignited and both are consumed by the flames of passion.🔥🔥 Romantic, fun and hot. Highly recommended.
I really enjoyed this story and getting to be a fly on the wall to watch these two (Enzo and Cami) to see what might happen between them. When you first meet them and get to know them, they constantly argue, you would think they would have nothing in common but as the story progresses and Enzo helps Cami, you start to see them softening toward each other even though they have their times of bickering as well. Definitely liked following their journey and it seemed like they had nothing in common, but they have more in common than they might think. This is my first introduction into the Willow Cove series, but I will definitely be reading the prior books. Great story!
I've read several books written by Theresa Paolo; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is the third book in the Willow Cove Series; she has written another good book. Enzo has given up everything to take care of his family, now that they are all doing pretty good he decides its time to find someone to settle down with; he runs into Cami; she his sister’s best friend and after he helps her with a flat tire they start spending more time together; even though they believe they are total opposites, they have more in common than they realized.

Enzo, used to managing and caring for others, feels he is to be alone. Cami, strong willed and self sufficient denies any chance of solid relationship. He helps her with a flat tyre and their budding romance begins. Opposites, each needing the other without realising at first. At times Cami brash and bratty in her refusal to accept help and determination to be independent. Enzo finding it difficult to understand. Eventually it all comes together.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. The third book in the Willow Cove series is about Enzo and Cami. These two are going to butt heads until they cannot deny their attraction. They know each other thru his sister who is also her best friend. Opposite in many way, they also have enough in common that they fit well together. Cami needed to learn to trust and lean on someone. Enzo has found him equal in many ways.

This is the third story in the "Willow Cove" series. It is a stand alone read set in a small town. This is Cami and Enzo's story. They have known each other for years since she is his sisters best friend. One day he spots her but doesn't realize who it is until she turns around. These two have always had an attraction but things start to heat up between them. This is a slow burn story that is a really good story and a pleasure to read. I love the characters and their story develops nicely.
I was looking forward to this latest installment and I wasn’t disappointed. Cami & Enzo are both stubborn & independent so you know their union would be magical. It had its moments but was worth every tear I shed. I would have enjoyed a longer story, but this book flowed from the first page to the last! Anxiously awaiting the next one!!

The love story of Enzo and Cami was a fun read. They were attracted to each other but were afraid to take a chance, at first. They had a amazing chemistry but both were very stubborn. There was some sexy scenes and comic relief. I would recommend this book.

A love story that's enjoyable, fun to read and easy to get swept up in. The characters have chemistry that can't be denied, are definitely attracted to each other and fun to get to know. The story is well written, flows smoothly from page to page and captivates you from the start.

I really liked Cami and Enzo At times they were a little bit like oil and water and other times they seemed to really fit together. That was why the story was so much fun to read. They both had to let their guard down and show their true feelings, even when those feelings scared them. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
The third book in the A Willow Cove series a well written story of one caring man Enzo Moretti and the woman Cami Martin who comes into it. I enjoyed seeing these two strong willed people fall in love. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Very boring. While the dialogues were nice, which earned the one star, there wasn’t much to the story besides what was spelled out in the first chapter. a major disappointment after an amazing book 2 in the series.
Enjoyable small town romance with engaging characters, a good story line and plenty of chemistry between the main characters. I received a copy and am voluntarily leaving a review..
The great plot was professionally written, and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each page the chemistry between the characters kept me totally hooked until the very last page!
I'm a first time reader of Theresa Paolo. His Complete Polar Opposite is a romantic humorous story with enough distress between Enzo and Cami to keep the story moving along. I was given this ARC to leave a honest review. I highly recommend this series it's humorous with enough distress the Moretti family and other great characters a feud about who makes the best lobster rolls. Now I'm going to get books 1 and 2 to get up to date on the Moretti family.
His Complete Polar Opposite by Theresa Paolo is another of the Willow Cove series. I am so in love with this series I cannot tell you. The people in these books have real, not contrived problems and it is such a refreshing change. Cami owns and runs a coffee spot: the Local Bean. It is her success and her life. Enzo works for his grandfather in his grandfather's lobster shack, which has featured prominently in several of this series. Enzo has known Cami all of his life and has managed to put any attraction far away from the surface until she dyes her hair red and he admires her from behind. Once he discovers it is Cami the attraction is out of the bag and she is all he thinks of. All of a sudden she appears to be aware of him, too, until one day he goes to kiss her cheek (inexplicable) and misses her and almost kisses her on her lips. It is all too much. They are too much a like; they would kill each other.
Paolo writes superb love scenes. The reader almost feels what the characters feel. It is beyond hot. The other characters in the book all have lives; some we have been more intimately acquainted with, some not, but it is good to keep caught up with them. Cami's best friends are Enzo's sister, Ella, and their friend Krissy. We have already read Ella's romance and likely will read Krissy's next. They have Taco Tuesday together featuring homemade margaritas and the reader can feel the connection between these three friends: the honesty and the love. This book is upbeat and fun as well as sexy. It makes me smile and lifts my mood. I recommend it.
I received a free ARC of His Complete Polar Opposite. All opinions and interpretations contained herein are solely my own.
His Complete Polar Opposite by Theresa Paolo. Another delightful book in the Willow Cove series. Enzo, the eldest brother in the Moretti family who has safely guided and cared for his siblings to adulthood is now ready to settle down and start a family, but with a busy restaurant and his beloved grandfather to help, time is not on his side until he begins seeing an old friend/adversary in a different way. Cami is a strong independent woman with her own home and business and is happy to keep relationships away and settle for a fling with the summer tourists until she realises her best friend’s brother is one “hot” man. They both have to learn to adapt to each other and to give and take in every day life which becomes difficult at times for both. There are some very funny moments in this book which I loved and having read previous books in the series I was already invested in the Moretti family and Enzo in particular. Given the strong independence of Cami I could understand if she continued her single life and couldn’t help but side with her in arguments with Enzo. She is indeed a complex person. Enzo is the kind of person we would all like to have in our lives in any capacity. Easy and fun reading.
Another fantastic read from Theresa Paolo. I love the willow cove series and was so excited to read Enzo’s story, and it didn’t disappoint. The banter between Enzo and Cami had me, at times laughing and other times shaking my head in frustration. The characters were so well written, they seemed almost real to me and I was rooting for their relationship. It was also nice to catch up with Ella, Lucas, Marco and Aubrey...and my favourite character Grandpa Moretti. His scenes with the seagull had me in stitches.
This was a fantastically written book, with lots of heart and I can’t wait to read Tony’s story next....or maybe Rieds. I hope this series lasts a long time as Ms Paolo has created a haven filled with wonderfully flawed people, a place I would gladly revisit time and time again
