I may not be the right reviewer for this book. I wouldn't have touched it before it was twenty years old, and when I became qualified to write about menopause, what I have to say about it is "Free at last!" Women who have alarming symptoms of hormone imbalances, and talk to doctors about them, are this book's intended audience. As a mere bookseller, I'll say: What's to like is that it's more "info" and less "mercial" than you might expect, given its sponsorship by Lilly. What's not to like is that it's sponsored by Lilly. This short book is worth reading before you consult a doctor about medical problems. If you're only starting to think about The Change of Life at age 45, what you need to know is that most of us don't have any problems with The Change as such. Either we have real diseases, or we just note, gladly, that a box in the bathroom cabinet is starting to gather dust.
