Absolutely Perfect!
Oh I so love this series, this story was a perfect attachment to it.
I believe I yelled "YES!!!" at one stage and scared my kids, you will too when you come to that part.
If there were two out there that deserved a HEA it was Jesse and Nora, but really all of the couples in this series deserved it.
This authors play on words bring the story to life in your mind and make it more realistic for you.
I have enjoyed reading every one and if you enjoy shifter stories like I do, you will as well.

Nora Morgan stared at the ceiling, shackled on the bed that only allowed her 4 feet of movement in any direction, the silver burning her wrists. Nora’s captor, Viho Valdana, had made her a wolf. He said he needed a mate to keep him steady, so he dragged her into an alley and knocked her unconscious. She had been held here for a month now. Suddenly the door was broken down and Jensen came into the room. He told her to get up; this was her only chance. He was the only one who had been kind to her on the few occasions he had seen her. He led her through the fighting men in the outer room, took her out the door and to the group on motorcycles. But before they could get away, Viho came at Jensen. Jensen told her to run free, and he turned to face Viho.
Jesse King had to break up a fight between one of the lion shifters from Trent’s pride and one the bear shifters from his alpha’s clan. No one else was taking any action, so he handled things. Trent walked over after the bears left and offered Jesse a permanent job. He liked how Jesse prioritized, waded right in, and handled the situation. And the fact the bears left was because Jesse was the only unmated bear and those with mates thought being with them was more important than fixing the fence. The lions didn’t have a mate issue and Trent thought Jesse would be a good addition.
Nora still hadn’t adjusted to her freedom. She startled at anything abrupt, loud, or sudden. She put her laundry in, then went to see the baby chick and sketch them. But a man came up behind her and spoke, frightening her and letting her wolf get out of control. So she was late for work at Hogshead Joint and her boss was upset. They had a band and it was going to be a busy night. One of her first tables had a trouble-maker type and, as they drank, he smacked her on the rear as she turned. Her boss saw and told her to take a quick break, so she went outside and fought for control of her wolf. A man came over, the same one she saw earlier at the chicks. He said his name was Jesse King and asked her if she ever owned any chicks and other short questions; and before long, her wolf was quiet and she was calm! He helped her up and she went inside.
Jesse’s skin tingled where he had touched her. He went inside to meet with his father who wanted his forgiveness for his failures as a father. But Jesse saw the rowdy table guy smack Nora again and he flew across the room to grab him. The diner’s owner told him the man had been warned he would be tossed off the deck next time – so Jesse took him out to the back porch and tossed him! He became Nora’s hero and she could not hide her smiles at him. He walked over to Trent to tell him he couldn’t take the job with him. He wouldn’t be single for long – he had just met his true mate! Would Nora tell him about Viho and that she is already mated, even though against her will? What would they do when Viho came back into her life and wanted to force her to come back to him?
This was a wonderful story, full of emotion and strong feelings. The characters were memorable. Even the weaker ones had a core of strength that only needed to be tapped and encouraged. Could Nora stand up for her new life and love? Could she trust Jesse to protect and fight for her? Grab your copy and see what direction her life will take now.

WILD FATE is the fourth book in the Black Claw Ranch series. Though each will stand on its own, I would strongly recommend that you read them all and in the order of release.
We met Nora in WHISKEY AND WOLVES in the Shifters and Sin series and that same scene was shared in this story. Talk about a scary introduction to the shifter life! I’m glad that we got this chance to see that Nora was safe after Jensen took that risk to release her from Viho.
Jesse is the last of the Bears in the Black Claw clan to find his mate, but she may be the most special of them all. Really, all of the women are exceptional and perfect matches to their bears.
I’ve loved the talents and the companionship, not just in the couples, but also in the entire clan. This series has been wonderful and I hate to say good-bye now that we’ve reached the final book. On the other hand, I know that Ms. Lane will bring us to more wonderful towns full of shifters and their ladies.

Nora finds a job but she is having trouble with her inner animal and it’s not helping her get to her job on time. She doesn’t know how much longer her boss is willing to keep her. Nora likes to draw and she loves to visit the baby chicks at the farm store, this is where she runs into Jesse for the first time. Jesse feels a pull towards Nora and he starts showing up at her work to watch over her. When someone puts hands on Nora, Jesse is having none of that. Jesse seems to be the only one that can calm down her inner beast. The two become close and they feel the mate pull towards one another, but Nora nows she can’t be his mate because she is Viho’s. When Viho comes looking for her Jesse finds out her secret. Will he decide to fight for her or let her go.

I love Cecilia’s writing and “Bucking Fate” is no exception. This book is deeply emotional, action packed and will without a doubt hold your interest until the last page. Nora a human has recently been turned, kidnapped then claimed by a Viho a cruel shifter. Viho keeps her chained in a room and continually terrorizes her. She finally escapes and lands in Beardon Montana where she hires on as a waitress. She has extreme difficulty controlling her bear and is frightened by continuous loud noises. Nora and Jesse have a crazy, sizzling, hot chemistry when they meet and Jesse immediately realizes that Nora is his true mate. Jesse saves Nora numerous times even from the Viho. Will Jesse forgive Nora once he discovers she has kept the fact that she is claimed from him? Now that her tormentor has found her, can Jesse keep her safe? Should she run or give herself to the Viho the evil shifter to save Jesse and his clan? “Bucking Fate” has an excellent plot with steamy sexy scenes, extreme danger and of course romance. Cecilia is an outstandingly brilliant author and I definitely recommend “Bucking Fate” to all lovers of paranormal romance.

It has been quite a while since I enjoyed reading such a wonderful, entertaining bear shifter romance. The characters are interesting & are quite realistic with their emotions feelings & expectations. I found the story-line and plot fascinating with some unexpected events, it definitely kept my attention.
There is: a human female (Nora) is abducted by a cruel wolf shifter (Viho) & changed against her will but manages to escape & moves to a small shifter town (Bearden) where she comes into contact with a bear shifter (Jesse) who discovers that Nora is his mate but there are some complications, twists & turns, suspense, drama, intrigue, various kinds of shifters, danger, threats, enemies, evil, conflict, confrontations, violence, action, decisions, happiness, love, some steam & a heartwarming, sweet epilogue. I would recommend this bear shifter romance to people who enjoy reading this genre.

This didn't start in Bearden , Montana but it ended there!
Nora had been kidnapped after work, bitten turned and then mated against her will if that wasn't bad enough she was place in silver mixed chains for the last 4 weeks by Viho and his Vagabonds in their clubhouse. She hated him. But when one of his own men had enough Jensen gave her the chance to run. She took it and ended up in Bearden.
Jesse is second to in the Black claw ranch. Everyone is now mated. Well everyone but him and he is feeling like the odd man out and wondering if he should leave. Until he sees her.
Oh lots of action, drama, danger, and spice with awesome characters and evil bad guy! I love the evil bad guys it just adds that that something more to the story and this story has it in spades. I couldn't put it down. So don't miss it on your to read list! Voluntarily review a copy and I honestly loved it.

Nora didn’t start out a shifter but she has a shifter’s heart. If only she can find her shifter’s strength. Jesse can empathize with most of her past, but can he convince her to make his clan her family of choice? This story has just the right amount of danger, the challenge of adjusting to a new life and angst of falling in love with a caring and protective cowbear. I like that the tale is built on the foundation of a “world” I’ve come to know and love. The tight knit community of the Black Claw Clan and Bearden draw you in and make you feel at home. This is a great shifter book and series.

Awesome book! Just love all the stories about Black Claw Ranch and the clan. Nora was human and was kidnapped and turned into a wolf against her will. Not only that but mated to a horrible, crazy, viscous alpha. She’s been chained and terrorized to be submissive and never fight. That is until she meets Jesse. Jesse knows Nora is his mate and he will fight until the death to protect those he loves. He never thought he would get the chance to find his fated mate.

Nora has endured the brutality of a violent shifter. Having managed to escape she finds refuge in Bearden. However the changes, upheaval and cruelty Nora experienced have left her struggling to adjust. Jesse recognizes that beyond her trauma Nora is also his mate. The menace that Nora escaped comes to interfere with their newfound happiness. I loved how Jesse was willing to forsake everything for Nora. The book has heart, action, chemistry and romance. Cecelia Lane has created a very entertaining series, each book bringing together wonderful characters and well written stories.

I have loved this series from book one and now this book five is just as great to read as the first. Nora is on the run from her kidnappers and trying to rebuild her life. Jesse has given her the courage and strength that she needs to belive in herself one again.
Only now Nora's kidnappers have found her are threting the clan too. Nora wants to sacrifice herself so no one will get hurt because of her. Jesse wants to fight dor the woman he has come to love.

She had a very tough childhood but in her adulthood became worse then cause of a kindness of a person she finally found a way 2 have her dreams come true. She tried 2 help him with his asshole dad but she realized that he's was better without his dad being not able 2 change sum of his bad ways in the past. I still wonder about what ever happened 2 tasney's brother... He proved 2 her that he would do anything 4 her in all ways possible. I liked the little game he played with her and the shock she gave him. Lol

This is her story and the final clan member, Jesse, who is also fighting his own little demons with his father. Great characters and settings, looking forward to more from this author.

Nora has escaped her kidnapper but is not truly free. When she meets her mate, she is prevented from taking the steps she wants and getting the love she needs. Jesse is determined to be with his mate and won't give up.
She escaped a horrible situation. I really admired Nora for her strength. Jesse is a good guy and really determined to have her for his mate. They really made a great couple and had fabulous chemistry.

I think this is my favorite story of the series. There is so much romance. Jesse is so patient, protective and loving. How could any woman not love him. He’s a bear shifter with s huge heart but no mate to share it with. Nora is a lost soul who has been taken by an evil man who wants to control and own her. I loved the characters and the sense of a real family the clan gives. And the ending is so perfect.

This is an amazing read filled with emotions, drama and action. The story is captivating from the very beginning and will keep your interest until the very end. Exciting and entertaining this is a read you will not want to miss.

The fifth book in the A Shifting Destinies Bear Shifter Romance,Black Claw Ranch series a well written book that I enjoyed reading. I liked the scavenger hunt Jesse had Nora on. Bucking Fate
Finally , finally Viho is no more. I wish Jesse's dad would go crawl back under the rock he came from, such a snake. I'm glad Nora and the other she wolves took Viho down, about Damn time. I really, really enjoyed reading about the Black Claw Ranch members, never a dull moment.

Finding a forever home
Great read and ending to this series.
I hope to read about the women that can tame the Lions.
Nora gets an unexpected twist in her life when she is kidnapped.
She meets Jesse as she is pulling her life togethe.
Good storyline and lots of laughter, antics, suspense and of course a HEA.

The world needs more jesses
Nora was bitten and mated without her consent by someone in Bear Claw clans past. She managed to run away and finds herself stumbling into Jesse...and Jesse is hot. Second in command gentle soul, sexy and just freaking amazing. He will save nora if it's the last thing he ever does

Nora and Jessie have their work cut out for them. Nora needs to be kept safe and she keeps Jessie in the dark until danger comes to their door. Excellent writing with a Storm that will blow your mind.
