LET IT GO, the second book of the Heart & Soul series is an outstanding continuation to the book one, SET IT FREE. If you fell in love with Alexandra and Slater in the first book, you will love them even more! Their story is unbelievable. From the style how the story is written, you will have a deep feelings like you know them both in person and you read the story about your best friends! Never happen to me with the other books. The book is full of love, fun, drama, passion, hope, twist and turns you would never expect! Your jaw will drop down many times! Alex and Slater don´t have an easy way to get back to each other and even though they will finally meet, it is not the end of a drama. It´s amazing to follow their journey to fame and to each other. While you read about their story, you will step by step fell in love with many other characters. Some of the new ones you will not like, they have a negative role in the book and they made me clench my teeth countless times.
If you love the world of Hollywood, rock stars, love and fame with many spicy and juicy moments 🙂, this book is a must read!!
If you have not read the first book, do it as soon as possible! This book won´t let you put it down !! Brooke is one hell of a writer! Third book! I´m waiting for you!

I love this series more than I can express, and that is rare. A Hollywood actress and a Rock God fall in love in the late 80's. They're in the wrong place at the wrong time and choose to let each other go, experiencing the loss of a beautiful relationship while their careers blossom with success after success. Gillespie-Trout explores the depth of a meaningful relationship that can span time and space because it is true and cannot falter.
Another thing that made this story so unique is the reference to 80s and early 90s music, which just took me back to my childhood and my mom's favourite music. Reading this series was like living all of that awesomeness and a beautiful reminder of what the music scene of that time was like.
This is a beautiful love story and I enjoyed every minute of it. I felt sad though because of the characters' beliefs that they can't really be together. Their relationship is so beautiful I really wanted them to have their cake and eat it both professionally and in their relationship. As a life coach, I know this is possible and it saddens me to know how many people are unaware of the true benevolence of the universe. But Alex and Slater's story kept going and it just got better and better.

An amazing story!!! A great follow up to the author's debut release, Set It Free. Twists and turns that you never could imagine as Slater and Alexandra's careers take flight. An incredible tale of fame, love, and romance that will keep you glued from beginning to end. The most relatable and lovable characters bring this great read to an unforgettable climax of emotions and passion. A true must read.

Amazing. Beautiful. Heartwarming. Heart breaking. Throw-the-book-across-the-room awful.
