Contemporary (1997) twin switcheroo romance with one finding love and another losing in love. Keri Putnam is a push over for her twin sister, she would do just about anything for her and Kim is going to test it to the limit when she convinces Keri to impersonate her for the weekend meeting the soon to be in-laws with Kim's fiance Stuart Carson. The Carson clan are wealthy and more then a little eccentric (read: crazy people). The first moment Keri (trying to be Kim) when she meets the family on the shore when she is getting off the ferry and she mistakes her fiance Stuart for his brother, Rhyder Carson who has two teenaged children (who were amazingly well adjusted even though losing there mother only two years before). Kim smacks a big one on Rhyder and there is some serious chemistry so that Rhyder tries to seduce Keri (fake-Kim). I really didn't like Kim and only liked her less and less with the progression of the story because she shows her superficial and selfish behavior in addition to being incredibly disrespectful to her twin sister. HEA for Keri and Rhyder although it takes time because they both have lives in different cities and jobs. Finally a woman in a romance story that loves her job and is successful. 249 pages 2 stars
