Heroine was seventeen and pregnant and chose not to tell the father, after on half-hearted attempt, although he was in love with her. She was supposed to be so in love with him she didn't want to spoil his future. I would hope in real life that her parents would not support her foolishness. The man has a right to know and her parents and her keeping it a secret and never informing him of the birth and the child's impending death was beyond my understanding.

Cute little tale of two teenagers that spilt after graduation but 17 years later he returns home and she is widowed, pregnant, business owner, mayor and the mother of two.
