The rose is all human life,Beauty, thorns, wonder, strife,A single bloom may stand,Or the posy in your hand.Your feet are in the clay.Looking up to the sky is your way.Representing peace, love and so much moreSpreading sensual fragrance around our door.Two royal houses battled over your color.Blood red bright or pallor white,Transient your days in the sun.New buds will soon with beauty stun.Love was eventually your peaceful way,Wars of the Roses ended in a royal wedding day.York and Lancaster became the Tudor roseYour new royal house for peace to impose.Dipped in tears in a dewy morningLeaves burned with pollution warning.Every sunny day you are thereEvery thorn you must share.So much beauty and so much peace and loveRambling rose, the sky above.
