Daniel D. Chiras

Dan has spent much of the past 30 years studying sustainability and applying what he has learned in solar energy, natural building, and green building to his residences, and most of the last ten plus years sharing the practical knowledge he has gained through writing, lectures, slide shows, and workshops.
Dan Chiras paid his last electric bill in June of 1996. It is not that he has disavowed the use of electricity and modern conveniences, but rather that he has turned to the sun and wind to meet his family's needs.

An excellent Human Biology introduction!
I read through it 10 pages a day - it took ages! It will definitely take me a few re-reads to absorb everything.

Lots of quizzes and online resources for self study.

And there are two entire chapters available with the book online that you need the digital code in the book for. I'd rather they were in the book - I've not studied them yet. But I think a few people may not be aware that there's a lot more of the book online available to you with your purchase. So make sure to read all the information about this in the book.
