I Love Kansas

Rate this book
Kansas has no stronger advocate than Rev. Richard Taylor. Only part of him is preacher though, part is historic preservationist, part is sports fan, and yet another part is engineer, his original calling. He is the man responsible for saving many traces of Kansas' rich cultural heritage. These range from the anitque Statehouse elevator to the largest horse barn in Kansas to his own lovingly restored home at Berryton, on the National Register of Historic Places. Therefore, it's only fitting that his book would be entitled, I Love Kansas. In the book, Rev. Taylor chronicles many of the battles fought for "the good life" in Kansas. I Love Kansas, simply stated, remembers history.
