This was actually quite a good short story for young people who have reading difficulties. The story is coherent and very real up to a point of being nasty even. It was also great that Tyler and Alex both were POC characters - those we do need more.

The language was clear, but wasn't made too easy so that anyone can actually enjoy reading it without feeling like it's an easy way out or so to speak. It's important that stories made for those that have reading difficulties need to be especially good and work out nicely, so that they are a great reading experience altogether. This so, because that encourages readers to keep reading more and keep their interest in the book. The whole setting is possible and the forgiving at the end is quiet but great. This surely is meant for older readers and that's especially wonderful.
