Francis Henry Gribble (1862-1946) was a teacher, journalist, and writer.
Gribble received his degree in Classics in 1884 from Exeter College, Oxford. He taught Classics, then moved to London to become a journalist in 1887. He also began to publish fiction books, travel books, and biographies.
During World War I, Gribble worked at the Ministry of Information. His memoir about this time, Seen in Passing, was published in 1926.
