This book was enjoyable, certainly worth the time it took to read it. The author did a wonderful job holding my attention, utilizing in-depth character development during slower parts to keep me interested. It came as a bit of a shock that I found myself emotionally invested in the characters' lives, but somehow they managed to find a place in my heart, even if I didn't notice until things went south.
