AFTER her husband is violently murdered by the police, Darlene Dennison picks up the pieces, reloads her gunz, and takes her hustling game to another level. In this story of money and murder, grind with Darlene as she shakes up the streets of ‘Cook City’ and makes them her own personal beehive.

The late 70Â’s and early 80Â’s werenÂ’t ready for the type of game she put down, but when the games began, anything was liable to happen. When she was on top, everybody danced. No matter what, the hustle must go on!

In a past full of secrets, and a life filled with actors, the strip became one big stage. By any means necessary, Darlene vowed to survive. If you were her friend, then she loved you forever, but woe to the ones that crossed her!

When betrayal set in, only ‘God’ could determine the outcome. With the police on her trail, and a District Attorney out to get her, they notoriously named her the ‘Queen Bee’. As this shocking fictional tale takes unpredictable twists and turns, what will be Darlene’s fate? In the end, will the streets sing another sad song?

If itÂ’s sweetness that you are looking for, then taste this honey. Every page is filled with non-stop suspense. The life of a woman has never been this hard-lived. When it comes to gangstaÂ’ bitches, Darlene is at the top of the list.

Personal Bee Hive,
Darlene "Dee" Dennison is faced with the truth that the love of her life, Phillip, has lost his battle in the streets of Cook City. Now raising their son, Junior, Dee decides that there is just too much money in Cook City to be left untouched. Hustling and pimping is well recognized by the boys, are they ready for the fleet of thoroughbred females Dee has comprised to control the streets?

Dameka, Danielle, Renny and Coochie aren't only confident, they are good with the gun play and dripping in sex appeal. Thanks to Phillip and Dee's relationship, his legacy is not only alive, but is flourishing in a major way.

Is the road in Cook City paved with riches for Dee and her squad to continue their reign?

O.G. Wise pulls readers back into the 70's with the terminology and fashions. QUEEN BEE is an appealing read that deals with a FEMALE squad that becomes notorious about putting in work. Though I'm VERY fond of the notion, I dreaded trying to keep up with the blurred time line and the constant misspellings. NEVERTHELESS, I will be waiting to catch P.I.M.P when it rolls off the presses.
