This was a text I had when I was in Prof. Ellen's class at UT. It was a heady time to be a in Instructional Technology and the cognitive psych dept. at UT in combination with CS dept and theories about AI were exciting. The black box that is the human brain had started to finally turn on the light now that we had computers and technology to peer inside it without busting or damaging it.

I remember how Ellen taught more than the text, so that speaks well of Ellen's skills as a teacher. I hope she has done well in her post-doctoral career, and it's hard to believe she hasn't gone on to publish more.
