I was really hoping for more. I went into this thinking I knew nothing about Mario Andretti, but found myself knowing more of the details of the stories in the book than were printed.

Most of the text reads like a season summary; there is some color, but there seems to be precious little about the man. (Strangely, there is next to nothing written about the period between the end of the 1969 season and the beginning of his real success in F1 in 1976.)

So I guess if you really know nothing about Andretti and want to know nothing about him personally or professionally after 1978, I guess this is the book for you.
