McMillan is a terrific and creative storyteller. The Landlord was entertaining and certainly had some heat to it, and it also ended in an interesting way that makes the reader go, "hmmm..." The punctuation with the dialogue could have been improved in this book. I have seen it some of this in previous stories as well. It didn't take away from the overall enjoyment of the story, but it does become distracting to a keen eye. I hope that it can be remedied in future books and edits.
I loved the storyline and the shortness of it. I feel the author has some growing to do but I also feel like being new, she'll get there. She's definitely got potential and obviously was good or I wouldn't give her 4 solid stars. I recommend giving this author a try.
This is a quick read, get down to it and enjoy story. My only suggestion is in something like this not to have the I love you come yet as it's not usually a reality and I think follow up stories could be made from a read like this if you ever wanted in the future. Putting aside that tad bit I would recommend this read to all the erotic romance readers out there.
The story itself was good. There was a few times when I was confused and I didn't like some of the things Lance said to bailey. I don't care how hot he was, I would of told him to shove it. Also when did they start dating for 4 months?
This is a nice short steamy read with interesting characters. The only part that confused me was how it ended - it just jumped to a fast ending almost like part of the book was missing. Still a page turner.
This landlord has a debt to be collected after a wet mess brings him to her apartment. His payment another wet scene or two or three... Pizza isn't enough
As per the description, the main character is indebted to her landlord, and the debt is to be paid without money. The author builds the sexual tension and heat nicely.
This was a quick read but whew it was spicy hot, hot, hot! This was my first foray with this author and I can’t wait to check out the rest of her books.
I love a good erotic story, and this one delivered. Great sexy build up between Bailey and Lance, and the love scenes were hot AF!! E. S. McMillan is a new-to-me author, and I'm looking forward to reading more of her books.
