Interesting as an historical artifact in itself, but doesn't stand up to reading today.

As a Kiwi I loved this book it reminded me of an era long gone
I have known people just like this and grown up in areas just like this
It's a biographical look at New Zealand in a time when we as a nation was still finding our feet
