Join us as we dive into God's Word and study the book of James. We will look at a book written by the half brother of Jesus, James. #justjames was #jamesthejust who lived what he a just life. James spends five chapters unpacking truths about practical situations that we face in our day to day trials, the tongue, injustice, relationships, and so much more. Just as James learned to live the just life, we, too, want to glean from him how to walk out our faith in the midst of trying times. While this study unpacks the truths of the book of James, it also offers practical Bible Study tips. Sometimes, sitting down with the Bible can feel overwhelming and cause us to be unsure where to begin or how to decipher the nuggets of wisdom found within. Because our number one goal as Teachers in the Word is to get you, a teacher, in the Word, we want to help guide you in knowing how to study Scripture. This study does just that.This study was created by teachers for teachers. Classroom applications abound. This 6-week study will be a great way to kick back, relax, and enjoy a cup of coffee with teachers from around the world. As we join each other via teaching videos and in our Facebook Group, we will laugh together, cry together, learn together, and grow together. We promise you that this Bible study is unlike any you've completed. We offer you not only Bible study application, but also classroom applications that can transform the way you interact with your students as you learn to live out your faith as a "doer of the Word," and not just a hearer of the Word. Public school teachers need not be fearful that this study won't apply to them. This is a fantastic study of one of my favorite Bible books! Make sure you have plenty of time because there is a lot of reading for this study and the videos are lengthy as well. Not a 5-10 minute morning study for sure. But well worth the time!
