From there begins the unraveling of truths about their past as they attempt to repair their friendship all while keeping their arch enemy, Beverly King and the senior home's unscrupulous manager, Pete, at bay.

I found this novella to be an interesting premise and true-to-life story for young adults. The story includes themes of multi-generations, adoption, and the American foster care system plus how we treat and care for our elders. The honesty of the tale made it enjoyable and I personally feel would make it more relatable to today's youth. I would be happy to purchase this book for a young adult in my life and you should consider it too!

Heart-warming story filled with lessons and truths. Along with excellent character perspectives and great moral to story.
