There is no better way to invest in wellness on a daily basis than to make sure we are drinking enough water. Holistic nutritionist and wellness entrepreneur Tori Holmes has developed ways to turn the simple act of hydration into a self-care ritual. As part of a timely conversation on beauty by ways of nutrition and supplements, she created 50 recipes for water-based elixirs that improve vitality, support longevity, and aid our bodies’ natural recovery mechanisms. She uses everything from common herbs like nettle, mint, and chamomile, to supplements like adaptogens, chlorophyll, and CBD oil to create elixirs for everyday use. Make her anti-aging Tocos Royal Jelly Plumper to aide youthfulness from within, Lion’s Mane Matcha to provide cognitive clarity, or Ashwagandha Chai Calmer for a good night’s rest.
Very inspiring book if you are into wellness. Talking about something that we are all so used to and take for granted in western countries but actually that is precious to our lives daily, water. If you want to create or improve your routine with some healthy drinks and/or heal your benign illness this book is very interesting. Also and bonus star for the design of the book, love all these pastel color & marble style. Very feminine.
Received this as part of a kit thing - an interesting read, I tried the cumin-fennel digestive water and liked it. Some of the ingredients might be hard to find, but I've tabbed a few to try before passing this along.
Wow. Never forget to check out the forward to a book if you’re wondering why someone wrote an ultra-specific book on, say…water. Her story inspired my hydration even more than the recipes themselves.
