More mockery. More mayhem. More murder. Your favorite homicidal forensic pathologist Dr. Beckett Campbell returns in the fourth book in the best-selling series. Pre-order your copy of Do Not Resuscitate today!
True story: I used to cut up bodies. No, not for fun, you sickos–for work. After reaching the age of majority and fleeing the clutches of an overprotective mother, I went to university like a good boy.
More than a decade later and an alphabet soup of letters after my name, I found myself looking down the double-chamber of a microscope at an eyeball. Feeling ironically introspective, I decided that it was time for a change.
After seventy plus novels and more than a million copies sold, I’ve found my true calling, one that also includes a plethora of letters. Hopefully you see something in my catalog that you like, something to feast your eyes on.
I also have two spooky podcasts that are appropriate for ALL ages, so long as you like to be scared: P.T. Logan's Five Minutes of Terror and Camp Fear. Both are FREE and available on all podcast platforms. For MATURE audiences, I've created two fiction podcasts, Nightmare Residue and Bad Priest.

The series sets the hook firmly in book one and continues to keep reeling you in with each successive book. But, I hate how Logan leaves me dangling -- LOL! It's such sweet torture!
Ok, that's enough - I hate cliffhangers and this book has the mother of all cliffhangers - I'm quitting this series, right now! Well, maybe I just start the next one! Why? Because I can't get enough of this characters and the awesome way Patrick Logan writes them off. Like I said on the review of a previous entry, this would be an extraordinary TV series (hello HBO, are you sleeping???). Our "good" Doctor keeps on fighting DNR secret society while running from Detective Yasiv investigation, but now Suzan is also in the middle of this plot, neck deep!
Like in all the previous books, you hang on to your seat, the pace of the story is very fast, with lots of twists and unexpected "WTF?" shouts, several gorish and violent scenes (not for the fainthearted) and specially tons of dark humor (the thing I love more about Beckett). If you're new to the series, just go to the first one and work from there, read them in order and read them all...
This is the 5th book I have read in this series as there was a prequel I received free. The main character, Dr. Beckett Campbell is a medical examiner and professor at NYU. Sounds respectable, right? Beckett is anything but. Remember Dexter in the series of books or on tv? Nice respectable guy, studied blood spatter for cops? Serial killer? Of course he only killed people who deserved it. Otherwise a perfectly normal guy with family, friends, girlfriends, even kids. Well, Beckett fits many of those boxes, except the nice guy. His one redeeming feature may be that he also has a girlfriend and seems to actually care about her. Not great books, but I do keep reading.
I can not believe this book ends like this... are you kidding me?!?
Dr. Beckett Campbell is back at it, on the hunt for the bad people that need to pay the ultimate price... yet this time, someone else is pulling the strings.. as wonderful as these stories are, the cliffhangers are horrid and this fan can only handle so much.. the ending of this one, is just not right!!!
Dr. Beckett Campbell finally had no blistering headaches, no roiling stomach, no nothing! His final episode have him all the answers he needed and one he didn't want. The final four cards handed to him by the DNR group out Karen in ultimate danger. Again there is so much that one cannot share without ruining the story, so I will simply say that you must read this... And also wonder about the writer who crafts these thrillers!
The best! Oh my wow over Tyler Teasdale! I love how these characters jump in from the other series, especially him. If anyone hasn’t read Chase Adams you need to start and grab Drake too.
Just when you think the corruption is gone in NYC the DNR have stepped right up. You don’t want to find your name on one of their cards!
So many insane twists and turns you need to buckle up, hold on and enjoy the ride!
Another great novel by the wonderful Pat Logan! This one shocked me to the bone, though. Tell me it isn't true! Dr. Beckett Campbell is one of the most quirky, beloved characters in this continuing saga. On to Damian Drake...Pat, you kill me with your cliffhangers ugh
Beckett knows that he is running out of time and now that Suzan is involved he can't see a way out. He has no one to turn and he realizes that he will never be able to protect her unless he finds a way out. But is there a way out of this nightmare? Another great read in the series.
NO!!! This can't be happening to my favorite character. Now I have to wait til December to find out what truly happens. Oh the anticipation. All Patrick Logans books are amazing. Keeps you on the edge and wanting more. A must read.
OMG!!! What a twist, I certainly did not see this coming!!!! It came back and bit him in the butt. Sgt. Yasiv really surprised me. You just have to read this book as well as all the others prior to this book.
Great book, can't wait to read the last of the series
Dr Beckett is one of my favorite characters. He is a very interesting character, I thought him invincible, but I was wrong . Can't wait to read the last book of the series.
A sad day indeed! I absolutely can’t wait to read on. The deeper I get into the series, the more I come to love the characters. Now to find out what happens to Suzan.
The Beckett series is so good. It’s nail biting snd keeps you on the edge of your seat. I couldn’t put it down honestly. I can’t wait to read the next one.
This keeps getting more and more bizarre but I'm loving it. That whopper of an ending means I need to move along now to the next one. I really can't say much anyway without giving stuff away.
