As with the previous book of Alexander Shen on algebra, I feel great improvement in my understanding of probability theory concepts. Not everything is clear yet but that fault is mine. The book is beautifully structured and clearly written. There are several humorous (although not truly funny) examples of the real-world applications of probabilistic reasoning towards elections, some notes on psychological aspects of probability theory, in other words, the book is—beneficially—not too abstract, and it links mathematics to our earthly life. Because of a number of sufficiently advanced problems near the end of the book, my problems completion rate is about 84% which I certainly will try to improve later, when I have some hands-on practice with probability theory.
